Bellamy put in a lot of effort to threw the ashtray.
The ashtray hit Adam's shoulder firmly. The bone was not broken, but his shoulder swelled. There was blood stasis under the skin. He went to the hospital to simply treat it.
After that, he received a call from the superior not long after he returned to the family building in the military region.
Adam said, "Nothing."
Suddenly, he thought of the promise he had made last time. If he was injured, he must tell her and could not hide it.
So he explained with a smile, "I was accidentally hit by the courier when I passed by."
When she heard that, Anthea's face was full of concern. "Are you all right?"
"I'm fine. It's just swollen." Adam shook his head.
Although Anthea breathed a sigh of relief, she was still worried. She asked him to take off the camouflage training uniform outside and checked his injury. His injury was so swollen, black and blue. It was shocking to look at it. And it made her distressed!
It would take at least ten days or half a month for the swelling to go down.
She was indignant. "These people are too careless! They don't even care when they walk!"
"It's my bad luck." Adam chuckled.
Anthea touched it with her little hand and found that he had already cured it. As she buckled the button of his military uniform one by one, she reminded him of applying medicine every day.
Adam held her hand tightly.
Anthea looked up and fell into his deep black eyes. They were as deep as usual, but seemed to be unusually meaningful.
She asked in confusion, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." Adam just lowered his head and kissed the back of her hand. He kissed it twice and said in a gentle and doting voice, "Anthea, no matter what happens, I'm here."
Anthea's head was held in his arms, so that she missed the determination to protect her in his eyes.
She only thought it was because of the mission that he was afraid that she would be worried, so she asked softly, "Adam, will you be in danger if you go on a mission?" "Maybe," Adam said.
It was a high-risk profession to be a soldier, especially he was a special-forces soldier. Anthea knew that every task would be accompanied by a certain degree of danger.
She put her arms around his strong waist and said, "You must be careful, okay? Don't get injured!"
"Yes." Adam nodded.
He picked up her head and kissed her.
A deep kiss.
Anthea's pink lips became so red because of the kiss. When he let go, his forehead pressed against hers. His breathing was slightly disordered, and his Adam's apple was rolling slowly.
Anthea's eyes were blurred, with her hands on his stiff chest muscles.
As she blinked, she asked, "When will you come back from the mission?"
"I don't know yet." Adam said after thinking for a moment.
The mission was difficult to deal with and involved many things. Besides, he might need to go to the border area. The exact time was uncertain. Maybe he would return in ten days or even one or two months.
Anthea checked the time. Then she licked her lips and said shyly, "Well, there are less than 20 minutes left. There's a small park in front. There's no one in the evening. We can go there to have sex..."
The sound of last two words was as small as that of mosquitoes.
They were so close to each other that Anthea felt his change.
When he just kissed her, his breathing became heavy and there was a familiar lust in his black eyes.
Adam's face darkened and he gnashed his teeth. "Am I that fast?"
