On Monday afternoon, Anthea returned to school.
The following days were like a calm sea, and the temperature was gradually rising.
All the sycamore trees in the school were sprouting, green and full of vitality.
Once again, the systematic female voice was heard. Anthea put down the phone with disappointment and stroked Adam's name on the screen with her finger as she sighed softly.
Adam had been away for three days and she couldn't get in touch with him.
For some reason, Anthea felt a little uneasy.
She was clear that they were not allowed to contact others casually because they had to keep it a secret when they went out for tasks. She felt that there was no need for her to make a fuss and she should get used to it!
Leonardo, who had followed her all the way out of the library, had just been killed in the game. He groaned at her, "What's wrong? You can't contact your boyfriend? Are you anxious?"
"I'm not!" Anthea rolled her eyes at him and said, "My boyfriend went to protect our country. I have the
awareness of being a soldier's girlfriend!"
He was forced to face such a public display of affection!
Leonardo's mouth twitched. He was immune to all public display of affection!
Anyway, if one day he died, it was definitely because of others' public display of affection!
It was time to resurrect. Leonardo continued to play games. With head down, he was so focused on the game that he bumped into someone. He immediately swore, "F*ck!"
When he looked up and saw the other side, he stood up straight quickly.
Vincent frowned and scolded, "You only play games every day. Leonardo, have you finished writing the clinical trials report I asked you to hand in?"
"Almost!" Leonardo was angry but not daring to vent, for fear that Vincent would complain to his father. He quickly smiled cheekily and said, "I've been working hard to write. It's too tired to search information, so I play games occasionally to relax!"
Hearing that, Vincent snorted coldly. No one could save a student like Leonardo.
In addition to teaching, Vincent spent most of his time in the lab. At this moment, it seemed that he came to see them specially. Anthea asked, "Sir, what can I do for you?"
Looking at his favorite pupil, Vincent became much kinder.
"Anthea, I came to you for a good news!"
"What's the good news?" Anthea listened.
Vincent said slowly, "After May Day, I may not teach here. I was invited to be a lecturer at the School of Medicine of Columbya University in Country M!"
"Sir, why is it so sudden?" Anthea was very surprised.
Vincent smiled and explained, "In fact, it's not that sudden. Last year, I received two invitations from them, but I haven't made a decision. My son is also in Country M, and he wants me to go there. As I grow older, I want to be with my children!"
Anthea nodded.
Vincent looked at her with a gentle look and said, "Anthea, Columbya University exchanges students with all countries every year. Your good grades are obvious to all. I intend to use my personal relationship to apply for you to go to Columbya University! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!"
"The medical college of Columbya University is high on the list in the world. Many people can't even be admitted to it no matter how hard they try. All students there will become very excellent doctors after graduation! You are my favorite pupil. I want you to follow me there, but I still have to discuss with you and listen to your thoughts!"
Anthea understood what good news referred to.
After hearing that, she shook her head without hesitation and said, "I'm sorry, sir..."
Vincent was shocked when he saw this. "Do you want to refuse?"
"Yes!" Anthea nodded.
Vincent didn't expect that she didn't even think about it. After thinking for a moment, he asked, "Anthea, are you reluctant to part with your family?"
