Crystal was terrified when someone pried her door at night.
But the moment she saw Erik, she felt more relieved than she saw the policemen.
She surely did not dare to live alone recently, so she thought of Erik's suggestion last time. At that time, she only thought that she might bring trouble to him, so she refused. But now there was no other choice for her!
She looked at Erik with her eyes full of expectations.
"Sure." Erik looked at her with one of his hands on the steering wheel. "It's too late today. I'll pick you up from school tomorrow tonight and then we can take all your luggage to my apartment!"
"Thanks!" Crystal’s tone was ingratiating.
When this matter was settled, the cold sweat in her palms was gone and she no longer felt terrified.
There was a red light in front of them, so they were waiting patiently.
When Crystal switched on the radio, she looked at Erik again.
He arrived very soon after she called him.
And now he was still wearing the military uniforms with rolled up sleeves, revealing his bronze tight skin.
She looked at her phone. It was almost twelve o'clock.
"You haven't rested yet at this time?" Crystal asked.
"Well, I'm not very sleepy!" Erik said calmly.
Crystal didn't think too much. With a change of signal light, the car moved on. It wasn't long before they arrived at Erik's department.
After opening the door lock, Erik directly put the key into her palm.
Crystal did not refuse and took the key. She followed him into the living room. The television was still on, which indicated that when she called, he hadn’t rested and had been watching TV.
At this time, Erik’s phone rang.
He glanced at Crystal who was running to the bathroom, walked to the window and answered the phone.
The call was from Aiden.
Erik's face darkened. Before Aiden could say anything, he lowered his voice and said, "What's wrong with you? I asked you to steal something from her place before she got home, so that she would think a thief went into her department. Why did you pry her
door? And in the middle of the night?"
"I changed my mind when I was there. Because I thought prying the door would be more effective!” Aiden said grouchily.
“Besides, there were too many people in the building and I couldn’t show up without being noticed, so I chose to do it in the middle of the night."
The effect was indeed remarkable.
Erik looked at the lit bathroom and smiled.
However, he narrowed his eyes slightly and said again, "It was too late! She was terribly frightened by you!"
Aiden was speechless.
So it was his fault?
Erik continued righteously, "Forget it. Next time, just don't do such immoral things!"
Aiden really had an impulse to beat Erik at this time and he hung up very angrily.
Erik put the phone down in a good mood.
After Crystal came out of the bathroom, she directly went to the guest room, which was just next to the master bedroom. She would live here. The bed sheets and quilt were all new.
Erik put his hands in his pockets, walked over and asked, "How is the room?" "Perfect!" Crystal said.
The windows in the room were even bigger than those in her own department, and the night scene here was also particularly good. "It's too late now. You still have to go to school tomorrow. Go to bed and rest early." Erik reminded her.
"All right!" Crystal said with a smile.
