It was a child's voice...
Wilson was deeply touched by these naive and childish words.
He turned around and saw a little figure jump out from somewhere behind him with her hands crossed behind her back. Her little face was painted with the beautiful rosy color of the setting sunshine, while her two obsidian-like eyes were looking at him.
"Isla?" Wilson was surprised.
He felt delighted to see this cute little girl again.
He bent down slightly and asked, "Why are you here? Are you taking a stroll outside?"
Isla shook her head. "No! I'm here waiting for you!"
"Waiting for me?" Wilson was amazed.
Isla became shy and said in a childish voice, "Well... I've been here waiting for you for many days and finally I succeeded! I know that we are destined to meet!"
Wilson couldn't help laughing.
Isla looked at the car door he opened and asked, "Domineering CEO, are you leaving now?
"Yeah!" Wilson nodded.
Isla was a little disappointed.
She rolled her eyes and looked up asking him, "Can you do me a favor?"
"Hmm? What's the matter?" Wilson asked with a smile.
Isla said seriously, "My Mom's birthday is coming. I want to buy her a gift for her in the store with my own pocket money, but the nurse told me that beautiful girls are easy to be abducted by bad guys. I dare not leave the hospital alone. Can you go there with me?"
The four or five-year-old little girl in front of him was so clever and present that she always looked like a little adult.
However, she was just a child. It would still be very dangerous for her to go outside of the hospital alone. What if she met bad guys?
Under the expectant gaze of her black and round eyes, Wilson felt comfortable and moved. He couldn't say anything to refuse her.
As he was free now, and had nothing to do next, Wilson nodded and said, "Okay... I will go with you!"
Isla said sweetly, "Mr. CEO, you're so nice!"
She took the initiative to put her small hand into his palm.
her hand was chubby, with pink fingernails which were like little petals of begonias.
Wilson held her hand with a smile on his face. There were a lot of vehicles and people in and out of the hospital. He was worried that the little outgoing girl might be hit by a car if she was not accompanied by an adult. In that case, he would be unable to explain to Tina what had happened to her daughter.
Isla s face was flushed.
Under the setting sunshine, a man and a little girl walked out of the hospital.
Opposite to the private hospital, there was a pharmacy and a restaurant, as well as a few stores.
Wilson and Isla came to one of the stores. In addition to daily necessities, there were also some small crafts sold at the store. Isla looked up and chose carefully.
The mobile phone suddenly rang.
Wilson took out the phone and looked at the phone number. He frowned slightly and directly snapped it.
He looked up and asked patiently, "Isla, which one do you like?"
Isla nodded with a smile and pointed to a crystal ball on the shelf. "I choose this one! There is a little angel in it. Mother often says that I am her little angel. If I give it to her as a gift, she will like it!" "Okay." Wilson nodded with a smile.
It could be seen that Isla and her mother had a very good relationship. Without the father, it was really difficult for Tina to raise her daughter alone. She had taught her daughter so well all these years, but it had nothing to do with Wilson.
He helped Isla to take the crystal ball.
Isla followed him to the counter. Her little figure was reflected on the glass ornaments there. Isla leaned on the edge of the counter and asked, "Sir, how much is this?"
