Tina bent down to catch her daughter and said with concern, "Run slowly. Be careful not to fall down on the ground!"
Last time, Isla secretly ran out of the ward and tumbled down outside. Later, Tina learned about it and she was frightened.
Tina held her daughter in her arms and pinched her little nose. She pretended to be angry and said, "Isla, did you sneak out again? Why didn't you tell Mom about it?"
Isla said softly, "I'm sorry, Mom. You were sleeping. I was afraid I would disturb you!"
Tina kissed her daughter again and again as a reply.
Suddenly, she found that her daughter was holding something in her arms. She asked curiously, "Isla, what are you holding?"
Upon hearing this, Isla immediately covered the gift tightly with her two small hands and said mysteriously, "It's a secret for the time being. I can't tell you now!"
It was not her Mom's birthday yet, and therefore she had to wait until her birthday came.
Tina smiled helplessly and didn't force her to say what was it. She took her daughter in her arms and walked into the elevator again. She then asked her daughter tenderly what she wanted to eat for dinner.
After returning to the ward, Isla hid the gift cunningly.
After putting her daughter down, Tina picked up her handbag and was about to go downstairs to buy dinner.
In the same hospital, and in the ward of the Orthopedics Department upstairs...
This was a VIP ward that was spacious and comfortable. There was only one hospital bed there, and it had a small living room, where there were TV sets, refrigerators, etc. If it weren't for the infusion support in front of the bed, people would think that it was a suite in the hotel.
Mona's hospital gown was larger than normal size, which made her look even more delicate.
Except for the plaster on her left arm, her injury was indeed not that serious.
Mona sat on the hospital bed and held a small mirror with one hand. She was applying foundation make-up on her face to make it look paler.
After finishing this, she impatiently asked her agent, "Mya, have you made a phone call to Wilson?"
Her agent, Mya Chiong, replied in a hurry, "I have already called him a number of times, but he didn't answer it!"
"Then call him again!" Mona frowned.
Mya had no choice but to take out her mobile phone again and dial Wilson's personal number.
After a long while, she shook her head awkwardly. "He didn't answer me..."
Hearing this, Mona suddenly became unhappy and rebuked her agent angrily. "It's all your fault! Stupid! Why didn't you ask the doctor to describe my injury more seriously last night? Wilson called at me last night, but he left immediately. He hasn't come back yet... Continue to dial his number!"
Prior to occurance of the accident, Wilson didn't want to meet Mona. She tried to visit him in his office for a number of times, yet she failed again and again. She was out of choice but to create a chance for herself.
Mya was annoyed by Mona's insistence, but she dared not say anything.
Although Mona ran into an accident while playing for a movie at night, her injury was not serious at all. Her arm just twisted a little, and the doctor suggested that she didn't need to wrap it with plaster. However, Mona insisted that the plaster must be applied... She wanted exaggeration...
As Mona was staring at her, Mya was felt a little scared. She quickly took out her mobile phone, walked close to the window, and continued to make a phone call.
While doing so, Mya looked down inadvertently. She suddenly exclaimed, "Mona, I seem to have seen Mr. Chin's car. He must have come to the hospital to see you!"
Mona's eyes lit up at those words.
Inside the black Mercedes-Benz, Wilson said "Bye-bye" and then cut off the video.
After sending Isla back to the inpatient building, he went back to the parking lot. When he got in the car, his mobile phone rang again. This time, it was Terry calling. Terry told him that an overseas emergency video conference needed his participation.
The conference lasted longer than he had expected. When it came to an end, it was over half an hour later.
The sunset glow had already disappeared.
Wilson pinched the space between his eyebrows.
He started the car engine and left the hospital.
As there were many people walking around in the hospital, the car was driving at a relatively low speed. When it was about to make a turn, Wilson caught sight of a familiar figure.
The horn of the car was sounded.
Tina turned around in confusion.
