Wilson's Voice
Malee and Lilith argued in the ward.
Malee felt that Lilith had gone too far. Lilith acted as if she wanted to chew up Tina and spat her out. Malee tried to defend her friend adamantly. "Mrs. Koo, can you shut up? What right do you have to say something like this here?"
Lilith looked at Malee disdainfully. "I'm looking for that b*tch called Tina Hall. Who do you think you are?"
Malee couldn't bear it. "If you don't want others to know about it, don't do it! Mrs. Koo, have you forgotten all the dirty and immoral things you've done?"
"What? How dare you!" Lilith raised her eyebrows arrogantly.
Malee's expression was angry and disdainful. "Dare you say you haven't done anything evil? Five years ago, the day before Tina and Dylan went to the Civil Affairs Bureau to register their marriage, you made an appointment with Tina and deliberately drugged her. Otherwise, how could she be r*ped by a strange man...
"It's all your fault! You took advantage of this scandal plotted by yourself to threaten Tina that she must break up with Dylan! You couldn't stop your son from falling in love with Tina, and therefore you did something so evil to Tina. Tina is not a b*tch; you are a shameless b*tch!"
Lilith's eyes was filled with wrath and hatred.
She seemed to be too angry to feel and shame, and she yelled out, "I am shameless? Tina was willing to have sex with that man, and she was to be blamed for her pregnancy. And she made her own decision to give birth to the little bastard! What does it have to do with me?"
Malee knew that Lilith had always been a shameless person, but she hadn't expected that Lilith would be shameless to such a high level.
She angrily pointed at Lilith with her finger and said, "Mrs. Koo, aren't you afraid of retribution because you have done so many immoral things?"
Lilith didn't take Malee's words seriously. Her expression was still disdainful and arrogant.
She crossed her arms with her hands over the shoulders, and her eyes suddenly darkened. Her unkind face looked vicious and cunning at the moment. "You little girl... Don't talk nonsense! Even if the thing was done by me many years ago, do you have any evidence of that?"
Malee was dumbfounded. "You..."
She was so angry that her face turned red.
Maybe Lilith's immoral behaviors really brought retribution to herself. Just as she had finished saying her shameless words, Lilith's dreadful face suddenly stiffened and darkened.
She turned around slowly and was shocked.
The door of the ward had not been shut down. Dylan was standing near the door. Nobody knew how long he had been listening.
The lamplight of the corridor shed into the ward from behind his back, while his extremely cool and handsome face seemed to be covered by dark clouds.
Lilith's heart almost skipped a beat.
She suddenly felt that everything in her life was ruined... Even though she had tried very hard to cover up the truth from Dylan for five years, he still overheard it in the end...
Malee was surprised too.
Dylan had obviously overheard all the contents of their conversation. His eyes were full of shock and disbelief, and his face was gloomy and angry. After glancing at Lilith's face for a while, he turned around and left.
Lilith didn't dare to wait for Tina to return and quarrel with her. She was so scared that she hurriedly left to catch up with her son.
Malee looked at Tina. Her eyes were full of regret.
She had promised Tina before.
Tina asked her not to reveal the truth to anybody, especially Dylan.
However, maybe it was because of a mistake or misunderstanding, Dylan learned about the truth in the end.
No matter what, Malee felt that she was to be blamed. "Tina, I'm really sorry for that! I didn't mean it. I was just too angry at that time. Mrs. Koo's words were too unpolite. I tried to argue with her, but I hadn't expected that my words would be overheard by Dylan..."
"It's alright!" Tina shook her head.
She knew that Malee was unintentional.
Under that circumstance, Malee just wanted to defend her.
After the tragedy occurred five years ago, Tina didn't dare to face Dylan.
There was no way out for the two of them.
Later, when Dylan found out about her pregnancy without marriage, he misunderstood her for having betrayed him. When he came to the TV station to question her face to face, she didn't even explain anything to him.
What was the use of telling him the truth?
Nothing could be changed. It would only make Dylan feel guilty and miserable.
This was not what Tina wanted to see.
