Why Do You Know My Name?
Tina turned over.
She was now lying flat on the big bed and felt much more relaxed physically and mentally.
Looking at the halos on the ceiling which were formulated by lamplight, Tina asked carefully, "Mr. Chin, are you busy now? Have I disturbed your work?"
The time difference between Australina and their home country was only two hours, which was different from the last time when they went to New City.
When he answered the phone, Wilson's voice was clear. It seemed that he was still up at this time of the day.
Tina knew quite well that Wilson was a workaholic.
In addition, she had faintly heard the sound of documents being flipped through. She was a little worried that she would delay his work.
"It doesn't matter. I'm not busy now!" Wilson replied.
At this moment, sitting in front of the meeting table of a luxury hotel in Australina, every participant of the conference, who generally was holding documents and waiting to report to Wilson, was petrified by Wilson's casual words.
Terry seemed to be the only person who still looked calm.
Wilson leaned back, and the pulleys of his chair moved slightly.
Ignoring the gaze of the other participants of the conference, he got up directly and walked to the French window.
Wilson asked Tina, "What's wrong?"
Tina explained, "Nothing special!"
It was true. There was nothing special. She just wanted to hear his voice at this moment.
After hearing his voice, she was able to calm herself down.
It was just like that day when Tina hid alone in the pouring rain. After she saw Wilson, her sense of security was dispelled instantly.
Wilson was just like a lighthouse in Tina's world, and that's why she had become more and more clingy to him.
Wilson's tone was a little mischievous. "Tina, are you lonesome tonight?"
"It's true!" Tina said flatteringly.
She knew how to please him.
But now, while trying to please him, she could also feel a sense of longing for him in
her heart.
She was especially fascinated by his laughter, which touched her eardrums, her heart, making her feel secure and comfortable. That's why she missed him.
Tina couldn't help but ask, "Mr. Chin, are you coming back tomorrow night?"
"Yeah!" Wilson replied.
Somehow, Tina suddenly felt a little shy. She grabbed her mobile phone tightly and said, "Okay... I know! Mr. Chin, I won't bother you anymore. I am going to the bed now!"
After making the phone call, Tina closed her eyes.
This simple phone call seemed to have a hypnotic effect, and Tina soon fell asleep.
Wilson returned to the meeting table and sat down.
He raised his hand and knocked on the table.
Then, he asked his special assistant who was sitting near him, "Terry, when are we going back home?"
Terry replied, "Tomorrow morning's flight. It will arrive at the destination at night!"
It would take more than ten hours for their plane to cross the ocean.
Wilson bent his fingers and rested them on the table. He was now deep in thought.
Two seconds later, Wilson ordered, "Call Jaxon now. Tell him to arrange a private plane for me in two hours. We are going to return as soon as possible!"
Terry was speechless."..."
"Yes!" He stood up and walked out.
The other participants in the conference room were dumbfounded by Wilson and Terry.
They still had a whole year's data and forms to be sorted out and summarized. For this reason, they had a lot of work to do tonight. In fact, they originally planned to work overtime tonight, and then everyone would have to report to the boss tomorrow morning.
Wilson tenderly pushed the glasses on the bridge of his nose with his index finger. "All the reports must be completed in two hours!"
Everyone was petrified again.
Could they choose to die directly? This might be a better choice.
The blazing sun shone through the clouds.
As it was Sunday, the private hospital had more patients and visitors than usual. It was very crowded today.
