Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1969

...

In E and M entertainment.

Desmond had just finished a vital signing ceremony and returned to the company.

The secretary by the side was reporting his schedule. However, Desmond didn't listen to him. He frowned and stared at his phone.

He had just called Mia, but no one answered.

He was able to get through, and she didn't hang up on him.

Desmond recalled his conversation with Tina in the morning. Yet, Mia didn't answer the phone. He could no longer sit still.

He stood up from the high back chair.

Seeing that he took his coat and left, the secretary said in a panic, "Mr. Chin, there are two more meetings..."

Desmond waved his hand. "Cancel them!"

When his wife didn't answer the phone, how could he attend a meeting with a cool head?!

Desmond drove one of his fancy sports cars to a university.

His car caught everyone's attention even before it stopped.

Desmond used to enjoy the proud feeling of being surrounded by women. Even his casual glance could light up their eyes. However, with only Mia in his heart, he wasn't in the mood to do that today.

Desmond parked his car and suddenly realized that he didn't know which department Mia was in.

But he could easily find it out.

Desmond went straight to the president's office. After explaining the situation to the president, he got Mia's files.

She was a sophomore in the civil engineering department.

Desmond was amazed when learning that his young wife with an elfin face was studying a laborious major.

When he arrived at the lecture hall, it was just lunch break.

Many students holding books were walking out one after another.

Desmond leaned against the window and waited for a while, but he didn't find Mia. He stopped a student who had just walked out and asked, "Excuse me, do you know where Mia is?"

This student happened to be Aubree.

Aubree asked, "Who are you?"

Desmond smiled politely. "I'm her husband."

The moment he said it, somehow, a wave of happiness flooded his heart.

Aubree raised her eyebrows and looked him up and down quickly. She was amazed by his outstanding appearance, thinking that he was indeed a perfect match for Mia.

However, she did not forget that there seemed to be a quarrel between them.

Although Mia shook her head and denied it, Aubree could tell from her expression that her husband displeased her.

So she replied indifferently, "Mia has left."

"Oh." Desmond was taken aback.

He looked into the classroom and found Mia was not among the few students.

"Well, there is no class. It's time for individual study. A man asked her out, so she left in advance." After saying that, she added, intending to upset him. "A very handsome man!"

Damn. Desmond silently cursed.

...

Aubree was right. Mia was in a cafe near the school with Mila, an attractive man.

He looked graceful with fine facial features. If he didn't need to perform, he would usually wear a pair of frame glasses, appearing steady and trustworthy in every move.

Many girls sitting at the table next to them would steal a glance at him from time to time.

Mia didn't pay much attention to Milan's delicate appearance. She preferred Desmond's prominent appearance. In her eyes, he was like a dazzling sun with warm rays, making her feel like getting close to him.

Milan said with a smile, "I was in such a hurry last time that I didn't have time to thank you! I knew it was your first performance at home, so I didn't expect you to perform at my concert. I still find it hard to believe that such a fantastic thing would happen. Many people in the association admired me very much!"

Mia smiled back. "It's just a small favor. Besides, you've helped me before, so I returned the favor."

He knew that she would say so. After all, he was not special to her. Somehow, Milan still felt a little disappointed.
