Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 1971

...

In the departure lounge.

Desmond was sitting comfortably in a single armchair in the VIP room with his legs crossed. He seemed to be in low spirits.

The secretary took the coffee and tea from the waiter. Desmond glanced at them, raised his hand, and said impatiently, "Nasty coffee. Stale tea! Did you ask them? When can we take off?"

Their original flight was temporarily canceled for no reason in the morning.

The sensitive secretary felt that the boss was in a bad mood not because the flight had been canceled, but because of something else.

In the morning, Desmond came with a sullen expression. When he attended the meeting, he scolded the managers of the three departments in a row and even his secretary.

So, what a secretary could do when the boss was angry?

Of course, he had to forgive him.

The secretary changed a glass of ice water and was about to appease him by saying that they could board the plane in 40 minutes. When he inadvertently looked up, he saw a familiar figure outside through the glass wall of the VIP room.

He was surprised. "... Mrs. Chin?"

As soon as he finished speaking, Desmond, sitting on the armchair, suddenly stood up.

Mia and Lyle sauntered to the boarding gate, each with an ice cream cone from the dessert stand.

She knew that Desmond's flight was in the afternoon, so she couldn't run into him at the airport.

Therefore, when her eyes met the secretary's, her head buzzed.

Mia, madly praying that the secretary didn't recognize her, wanted to quickly pull Lyle away from the scene, but it was already too late. Desmond strode out of the VIP room with the secretary and walked over.

She was dumbfounded and looked at Lyle for help.

How could she deal with the critical situation?

Desmond thought his secretary got the wrong person and was taken aback when he saw her. "Why are you here?"

Well, Mia wanted to say it was a coincidence... But he wouldn't believe it.

She felt like crying. "But wasn't your flight in the afternoon?"

The secretary next to Desmond answered with a smile, "Mrs. Chin, it was in the afternoon, but the flight was temporarily canceled. So he held two more meetings and arrived here to take the flight in the evening."

Mia had nothing to say to reply.

The secretary saw the boarding pass in her hand and said happily, "What a coincidence! We are still on the same flight!"

Mia was slack-jawed.

...

With a frown, he stared at her. "You haven't answered me yet. Why are you here?"

Lyle supported her and silently encouraged her with eyes, telling her to hold on and lie to make him happy.

...

Mia coughed unnaturally and had to brace herself to say, "Lyle has something to do in Shanghy City, so I'm here to company her and give you a surprise..."

Desmond raised an eyebrow, his tone full of suppressed joy. "Do you want to go on a business trip with me?"

Mia felt too guilty to look at him. "Hmm..."

...

Desmond thought that she was shy and patted her head. "It's fine. I'm equally surprised and happy to see you here."

She couldn't bear to part with him, and he was secretly delighted.

After that, he took Mia and Lyle into the VIP room.

The secretary hospitably served them tea and water. Ever since his boss saw Mia, he was in a good mood.

Half an hour later, they boarded the plane.

Mia obediently entered the first-class cabin with Desmond.

Lyle was sitting behind them.

She bought two economy class tickets, and Desmond upgraded their class.

The seat here was spacious and much more comfortable. Lyle felt the awesome power of money.

Although they were caught on the spot, they got extra benefits. It was just that she had to travel with this loving couple.

Fortunately, she had taken her sweetheart with her- Lyle took out Josiah's signature photo from her bag.
