Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 873

Last time, she packed her luggage and wanted to return to the town, but he stopped her. From then on, Emily had the thought of moving out.

However, she gave up the idea in the end. It was apparent that Simon would let her leave. Besides, what could she do after moving out? After all, they had a child. With the baby, how could they separate from each other and live like strangers?

Tina did not say anything else about this. She looked at her watch and said, "Emily, this afternoon, we have to go to three old people's homes in the north river. It'll be a long tiring trip, so you don't have to go there. Mr. James and I will be enough. Go back to the TV station!"

Although Emily was back to work now, Tina still worried that this task might be too much for her. After all, it was a long way to the north river. This job would be very hard. They set out early in the morning and had already visited five nursing homes up until now!

Emily did not insist on going with them and said, "Well, then I'll go back and sort out the manuscripts!"

"Mm. How about we send you back first?" Tina asked, feeling a little worried about her.

Emily waved her hand with a smile. They would not take the same way, so she did not want to give them any more trouble. They would arrive at the north river earlier if they started from here. However, if they had to send her back first, they might have to work overtime again.

"It's okay. I'll just take a cab. There are a lot of empty cabs here!"

"Okay." Tina nodded and urged, "Then take care of yourself. I'll go back after finishing the work today!"

"Okay!" Emily handed them the camera on her neck.

Walking out of the nursing home, Tina and Mr. James got into the car dispatched by the TV station and went to the north river. While Emily took her bag and went to the roadside to take a cab.

It was not rush hour now, and many cabs were available. Emily just stood there for a while before an empty cab slowly stopped in front of her.

Emily walked over and opened the back door. She bent over and got in the car while telling the driver the address. Soon, the taxi started, turned to the main road, and went forward at a constant speed.

With the beautiful street views outside flashing across, Emily felt sleepy and yawned.

As a pregnant woman, she always felt like sleeping. To prevent herself from falling asleep, Emily took out her phone to check the document sent to her mailbox. In this way, it would be much easier for her to sort out the interview draft when she was back.

Before she knew it, a long time seemed to have passed.

The taxi was still moving. Emily, who had been concentrated on her phone, looked up. Somehow, she felt something was wrong. There was hardly any traffic jam or red light, but they still did not arrive. It was not supposed to be such a long way to go.

When Emily looked out of the window, she suddenly found that the taxi was not on the right way.

She frowned and called out to the driver, "Sir, where are you going? I'm going to the TV station!"

However, the driver made no answer as if he could not hear her. He looked ahead and continued driving.

Originally, she was worried that the driver deliberately took a detour to earn more, but when she saw that there were fewer and fewer buildings on both sides of the road, she felt that something was seriously wrong.

The driver had never turned back, so Emily did not know what he looked like. What she could only confirm was that he was a man about 30 years old. From the rearview mirror, she could only see the brim of the hat on his head, which covered most of his face.

Just as she questioned him again, the driver abruptly turned around and cast her a cold glance.

Emily widened her eyes in shock. "Sean?!"
