Coming down from the escalator, she was in a short windbreaker and black over-the-knee boots, with long hair hanging loose over her shoulders. She looked exactly like the day they first met each other, but Emily didn't expect to see her again.
Everything was eventual.
Apparently, the girl had also seen her. She walked over in surprise and asked, "Miss Sam?"
"Miss Swan." Emily couldn't pretend not to recognize her.
"Haven't seen you for a long time!" Addy greeted.
Emily nodded with a polite smile and said, "It's been a long time. You're as beautiful as ever!"
Getting rid of the unhappy marriage with Sean, she looked more gorgeous with ruddy cheeks. When such a beauty appeared in public, she naturally drew much attention.
"I just came back from Newley City three days ago to deal with some personal affairs. I didn't expect to meet you here!" Addy smiled. It was a little embarrassing forthem to meet again. She continued, "Miss Sam, you and Simon..."
Before she could finish her words, Addy suddenly saw a man with handsome features walking towards Emily.
There was a warm smile on his face. It seemed that the two of them were very pretty close for that man put his arm around her shoulders as soon as he came up.
"Emily, have you been waiting for a long time?" Calvin walked over quickly. "The parking lots are full. I left the car on the roadside nearby! We seem to be a little late. The shop is just in front of the sightseeing elevator there. The shop assistant just called me to ask where we were!"
It was only after he stopped that he noticed that a beautiful woman was standing in front of Emily.
It seemed that they were chatting. He couldn't help asking, "Your friend?"
"Yes." Emily nodded, and then looked at Addy, who was surprised. "I'm sorry, Miss Swan. I have to go!"
"Calvin, let's go!" She pulled her fiance away.
From behind Addy was still staring at their backs with a look of speculation and exploration until they finally walked into a wedding dress store.
It was said that women were born with a natural longing for pure white wedding dresses. In the fitting room, Emily stood on a small round stage and looked at herself in the mirror. She was not excited.
Instead, she was very calm.
As if she was implementing a task.
The assistant tied the ribbon on her back tightly and pulled open the red velvet curtain. Calvin, who was waiting outside, immediately came forward and praised her without hesitation, "Emily, you are so beautiful!"
"Thank you." Emily smiled.
Not only did she thank him for his praise, but for the style of the wedding dress that was designed by him. She was more like a guest who was invited to try it on.
Calvin followed the assistant to change into the groom's clothes. It was not a traditional black suit but was charcoal gray one. The collar was embroidered with silver stripes, rendering it a gracious looking. He appeared particularly gentle and courteous with the warm smile on his face.
The assistant asked the two of them to stand side by side, which was reflected in the mirror. This would be what was like on the wedding day.
Emily's gaze couldn't help but fall on the dark gray fabric.
Out of her expectation, she thought of Simon at this moment...
They didn't even have a wedding ceremony...
