Emily looked at him, biting her lips.
When he said that last sentence, his beautiful eyes looked down, and there was no light in them. The muscles on her lips were stiff.
If a doctor couldn't go to the operating table again, it would be crushing. She knew his responsibilities for patients, and she also knew how much he loved this profession.
But he had no choice but to give up because of the disease...
Emily knew the feeling of the separation, and she felt sorry for him.
Simon remained still.
The soft little hand opened his clenched fist bit by bit and he could feel the lines of her hands overlapped that of his. He looked over and saw her quietly looking at him. Her eyes were like a pair of black gems, shining and having shined into his heart.
He could feel that invisible force.
After hesitating for two seconds, he slightly held back.
During the feast, the mother returned to her house and took out the self-made wine. The atmosphere had been full of energy and natural that one could not help but feel relaxed.
Emily looked at the red wine jug placed at the corner of the table and came up with an idea.
Her eyelashes trembled a little. She tilted her head to look at Tyler, who was walking into the other side of the courtyard to answer a phone call. Then, she glanced at Simon, who was talking to the mother. She then took the opportunity to sneaked out of her seat.
Emily stood behind Tyler with her arms around her shoulders. When Tyler put down his phone, she immediately spoke.
"Mr. Perry!"
Tyler turned around and asked in confusion, "Miss Sam, what's the matter?"
Emily walked up to him, stood very close to him, and then crooked her finger as a symbol to ask Tyler to get closer. When he came over, she raised her eyebrows and said with a mysterious look on her face, "Mr. Perry, can you do me a favour?"
"Ah?" Tyler was a little confused.
Emily immediately whispered something to him in a low voice.
The expression on Tyler's face changed from confusion to entanglement, and he looked at her perplexedly. "This... is not suitable!"
"It's okay!" Emily patted him on the shoulder.
Looking at Simon's straight and tall back, she gritted her teeth and rubbed her hands together.
I'll get you tonight!
The two of them returned to the dinner table. As soon as they sat down, Simon pretended to look at her casually as she had expected. "What did you two say?"
"We were just having a casual chat!" Emily picked up a piece of beef. The beef was hot and delicious.
"Just a casual chat?" Simon frowned.
The mother served him a bowl of beef offal soup just now. Taking the opportunity, the mother repeatedly expressed her gratitude. He repeatedly emphasized that he just did what he should do, and then urged the mother to take care of the child on several aspects.
It was not until the mother left did he find that she had left her seat.
From a distance, he saw her standing with the primary school teacher.
They were talking and laughing, and their were standing so close. In the end, it seemed that they even bent their arms around each other's shoulder. His hands were clenched into fists so hard. Only then did he barely resist the impulse to separate them!
