After leaving the Ministry of Civil Affairs Bureau, they went home.
Simon and Emily took a day off to get their marriage certificates. Upon entering their home, they put on slippers. They looked at each other but suddenly did not know what to say. So they snuggled up to each other, sitting on the sofa quietly.
It was not until the bright sunlight flooded the entire living room that they found it was already noon.
Simon got up from the sofa.
Emily thought he was going to the kitchen to cook. Unexpectedly, he walked into the bedroom and went straight to the counter on the right side of the window. Then he took out a safe from it, input the password, and put the marriage certificate that had been kept in his pocket into it.
So overcautious he was!
Emily, who was following behind, could not help laughing.
When she was about to tease him, something else in the safe caught her eyes. "This is..."
She walked over, leaned over beside him, and took out a cluster of pink and soft stuff.
These were clothes for babies.
There was a small hat, a pair of small gloves, a scarf, and a pair of tiny socks...
Emily looked at him blankly. "But I have thrown all of them away, haven't I?"
At that time, her heart had broken into pieces. It was because she had just lost her baby and thought that he could not let go of his ex-girlfriend in his heart.
Thus, she threw all the infant clothes that they made out of the window.
"I got them back!" Simon replied, pursing his lips. He felt wronged and looked quite upset. "I found them up one by one. A Teddy dog took one of the small socks, and I snatched it from its mouth!"
Emily imaged the scene: Simon pulled a sock from a Teddy dog's mouth like a large dog bullying a small one.
Though amused, she felt like crying.
She put her arms around his neck and raised her head to kiss him deeply.
Simon quickly responded with a much more passionate kiss. Seeing that she stared at him with an obsessed look, he raised his eyebrows a little and asked, "You are seducing me in broad daylight!"
Emily raised her hand and hit him. "No. I'm hungry and waiting for you to cook!"
"I thought you wanted to eat me!" Simon said mischievously.
Emily ignored him with a red face.
He was so good at talking dirty.
Simon put the safe back into the cabinet and picked her up. He then sat at the end of the bed with her in his arms, pointing at the knitted baby clothes. "Next, you'll be responsible for giving birth to a baby, and I'll prepare for the wedding!"
Emily cast her eyes down in shame, her eyelashes slightly trembling. But when she heard the latter part of his words, she was stunned. "Beast, do we still have to hold a wedding? I don't think so. Everything is perfect now!"
Though she was looking forward to a wedding, she did not think it was a must in a relationship. They had already got married once. Now it was very good when they could remarry. For Emily, a wedding was no longer necessary.
Simon shook his head, cupping his hands around her face. "Mrs. Chin, I want to give you a wedding!"
Seeing that his deep eyes full of affection, Emily bit her lips and said, "Okay!"
At dusk, the sun was setting.
The black Cayenne drove to a three-story single villa.
On both sides of the door were guards armed with guns. They gave them a standard military salute.
Though Emily had experienced it before, she felt shy and a little awkward.
After the car stopped, she grabbed the seat belt on her and asked with fear, "Beast, are you sure that I'm going in with you?"
