Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 992

In other words, it showed that Adam valued his father's opinion a lot.

Emily remained silent, not knowing what to say.

Adam was Anthea's uncle. Though they were not related biologically, they had to bear the secular pressure if they wanted to be blessed by others. At this time, Emily only hoped that they could overcome these difficulties and finally get married.

Emily stopped thinking about the matter that made them worried and changed the topic. With sparkling eyes, she said, "Adam looks so manly in his military uniform! Did you see it? Just now, he did not even blink his eyes when he was bleeding! You can imagine that how handsome he will be when fighting in the army!"

As soon as Simon heard this, his face immediately darkened, and he warned, "Mrs. Chin, let me remind you: you are my wife, and in every birth, you should be mine!"

Seeing that he was annoyed, Emily knew that this fellow must have remembered something in the past!

She winked at him and said, "Dear, it was true that I wanted to marry a soldier when I was a child. But do you want to know which occupation took the second place in my heart?"

"No, I don't want to know it!" Simon said unhappily.

"Then forget it!" Emily shrugged.

Next to the artificial pool, there was the fish food prepared by the servants. She seized a fistful of it and scattered the food to feed the fish in the pool.

Simon stood there with his hands in his pockets. After a long while, he could not help asking with a poker face, "What on earth is it?"

"Doctor!" Emily said with a big smile.

Simon's eyebrows raised all of a sudden. "Really?"

"Yes!" Emily nodded.

Simon pulled her into his arms with a bright smile, pinched her chin, and lowered to kiss her.

Emily quickly tilted her head to avoid him, and his kiss landed on her cheek.

She glared at him with resentment. After all, they were in the Chin's Mansion, and there were always servants passing by. If his father saw them kissing, he might faint on the spot. He was so careless, like a mischievous child!

They stayed in the garden for more than 20 minutes and finally returned to the villa.

They came in from the side door. They saw Adam, whose forehead was covered with gauze, walking down quickly as they went upstairs. His face took on a ghastly expression as if something terrible had happened.

When Simon saw this, he immediately asked, "Adam, what's wrong?"

Adam said in a low voice, "Anthea has run away!"

"Ah?" Emily goggled in bewilderment.

It took her a while to come to her senses. Adam did not seem to be kidding. Emily's blood froze as she saw his cold and gloomy eyes. Without hesitation, she took out her phone and dialed out Anthea's number. Then she swallowed hard and said in shock, "Her phone is turned off!"

When she looked up again, Adam had soon arrived at the vestibule.

A servant walked over and said with respect, "Young Master Simon, Master Chin asks you to go to the study!"

"Okay!" Simon's lips twitched.

After Adam left, Simon and Emily entered the study.

When Simon opened the door of the study, Emily was frightened. She had thought of this, so she asked Simon to go in first, telling him that she would go in when he had finished talking with his father.

Although she was just standing at the door, she could feel the chill in the study behind her. She secretly looked inside. The study looked tidy. It seemed that servants must have cleaned it up. However, the wall had lost some paint - he must have thrown something heavy onto it.

Bellamy closed his eyes and sat in front of his desk. At this time, his face seemed to have softened a little. There was a military uniform hanging on the clothes-hanger next to him.

As Adam went in, he directly announced, "I got married again!"

"What?" Bellamy suddenly opened his eyes.

Then, he glared at Simon, his youngest son, and slammed his fist on the table. "How dare you tell me this? Your father is still alive! You secretly married the first time and secretly divorced without informing me. Now the second time you got married, you still did not tell me beforehand! Do you regard marriage as a trifling matter? Or do you think that I have lived too happily and want to piss me off?"

However, Simon said lightly, "I know it. That's why I come here to discuss the wedding with you!"
