Purchased A Mr. Right novel Chapter 997

It was Saturday. The sun was shining brightly.

Temperatures of the north were low in the early spring, but the sun shone bright and warm. So, it was pretty warm inside.

Emily, who got up late, yawned and came out of the bedroom. As soon as she went downstairs, she heard Simon come from the vestibule and hurried to greet him.

Last week, they had moved from the apartment in Riverside Court to the villa here. Although Emily had not yet got used to living here, she considered it as their sweet home as long as they could stay together.

Simon was on the night shift yesterday and just came back from the hospital at this time. Before he came in, Emily smelled the tantalizing aroma of steamed dumplings. He must have bought them from her favorite restaurant around the street corner. Just by the smell, she could tell that they were seafood and pork-stuffed dumplings.

Emily quickly reached out to take the food, and her empty stomach was roaring.

She turned around, intending to eat them in the dining room. However, she suddenly stopped because she surprisingly found that Simon was holding a fishbowl in his arms!

Emily asked in astonishment, "Honey, you bought it?"

"Yes." Simon smiled and put on slippers. Then he put the fishbowl on the cabinet by the living room window and said, "When I bought the breakfast, I went to the market for pets and plants!"

The fishbowl was the size of Emily's face, and there were two-thirds of the water inside with some seaweed, coral, and a few colorful small stones. In the water, two goldfish were swimming happily, shaking their heads and tails.

He could not buy the two tiny fish to cook.

Emily asked him uncertainly, "Do you want to raise them?"

"Well, yes!" Simon nodded and took out two bags of fish food from his windbreaker pocket. "One fish is male, and the other is female!"

Emily looked at his slender fingers taking the fish food and sprinkling it into the fishbowl. It seemed that he was interested in this. She could not help wondering, "Why do you want to raise goldfish?"

Simon glanced at her and said, "If the pets raised at home are pregnant, their owners can also get

pregnant!" "...Who said that?" Emily was stunned for a moment. She had never heard of such a thing before!

"I read it online!" Simon, who was feeding the fish, replied.

Emily was dumbfounded.

There was no scientific evidence to support this!

Please, did you forget that you were a doctor?

Emily could feel that he was already obsessed with the matter of pregnancy.

In fact, she was not worried about when the baby would arrive, so she just let nature take its course. But it seemed that Simon was determined to become a father as soon as possible!

Emily paid no more attention to him. She carried the steamed dumplings to the kitchen to get chopsticks and bowls.

After she finished eating the last steamed dumplings, the aroma still lingered between her lips and teeth. Besides, the rice porridge was very sticky. She drank up a large bowl of it. When she put down the chopsticks, Simon, on the opposite side, also finished eating and wiped his mouth with a tissue.

Emily asked with concern, "Were there many patients in the hospital last night?"

Simon replied, "It's okay. Only the condition of one patient in ICU was not stable in the evening!"

His exhausted look distressed her, and Emily quickly said, "Then you must not have slept much and must be tired, right? Honey, go back to your room and take a nap!"

"OK!" Simon nodded.

Five minutes later, both of them were lying on their big bed in the bedroom.

The curtain was closed tightly, and no light could go through it. Emily's clothes were all taken off. In the blink of an eye, there were only two pieces of underwear left. Emily complained, her face red, "Hey, I'm asking you to sleep, not asking you to sleep with me!"

"Don't forget our current target!" Simon said, pulling the buttons of his shirt.

"What is it?" asked Emily.

"Become parents!" Simon answered, taking it for granted.
