Irene gazed down at the man kneeling before her, a scene she had longed for, yet only now, after so much had transpired, did she finally witness it.
Tears welled up in her eyes as she solemnly nodded, "Yes, I will."
The crowd erupted in cheers, celebrating the reconciliation of this couple. However, unnoticed at the back stood a man, silently observing.
Wearing a cap and sunglasses, his full face obscured, he watched as Neil slid the ring onto Irene's finger before quietly turning away.
Leaving the estate, he got into a car, removing his disguise to reveal his lean, somber face.
Supposed to be abroad, Russel couldn't help but return for Neil and Irene's wedding, sneaking in with a ticket Cooper had secretly arranged.
Now, seeing Irene happy, he felt he could leave in peace.
As Russel was about to drive off, Cooper unexpectedly appeared, blocking the car. "Russel, you're leaving just like that?"
Russel was taken aback, "How did you find me?"
Cooper was annoyed, "You think you can just look at Irene and leave, without even a goodbye to Neil, let alone me and Mitch?"
Russel admitted guilt but mentioned his urgent flight.
Cooper threatened, "Have dinner with us tonight, or we're done as brothers. Your choice."
Feeling cornered, Russel agreed to meet at their usual spot.
That evening, at a diner they frequented instead of a teahouse, Russel waited for Mitch and Cooper, ordering burgers and fries, recalling old times.
