Chapter 24 Ridiculous

Her attitude completely provoked Lucinda, and she raised her hand towards her cheek.

Roslin grabbed her hand and said coldly, "I didn't come back for you to slap me in the face."

Roslin threw her hand violently, and Lucinda's body got unsteady and hit the dining table heavily, causing her great pain.

Roslin didn't even look at her and left the dining hall.

Mary stepped forward to help Lucinda up and said, "Mrs. Smith, you have misunderstood Miss Roslin. She just said that she would go upstairs to see Miss Linda."

"Mary, she is just putting on a show. She is blaming us and blaming Linda." Lucinda's well-groomed face was full of grievances and resentment.

"How could Miss. Roslin not blame you!"

"You talk about Linda all the time, putting her first in everything and defending her everywhere. How could Miss Roslin feel at ease? Miss Roslin is the flesh that fell from your body after all, and you treat her like this. It is really too much."

"Alas, after all, the relationship bonded by blood could not match that by daily caring."

Mary sighed in her heart. She knew that Mrs. Smith didn't want to hear these words, so she wouldn't say them.

"I was too impulsive just now. You go and bring her some food."

Mary felt a little relieved when she heard Mrs. Smith say this, feeling that Mrs. Smith still had Miss. Roslin in her heart, and she hoped that Roslin could understand.

Masafield School was the most prestigious institution of higher learning in H City, but there was another name for it. People also called it the aristocratic school for its international elite teaching and annual tuition fees as high as million, which was not affordable for ordinary families.

However, every year, the school would recruit a group of ordinary students with excellent character and learning, granting them not only full exemption of tuition and miscellaneous fees but also additional subsidies and scholarships.

Stepping into this school again, Roslin felt as if she was in another life.

Among the students coming and going around, many of them noticed the gorgeous girl standing on the boulevard, who was as beautiful as a blooming rose.

She closed her eyes, feeling the smell of corruption on this campus disguised by the blooming flowers, and a wicked smile appeared on her lips.
