Chapter 44 Here He Came
With that, Arthur turned and left with his head high, giving no consideration to anything.
After he was gone, Roslin said to Lily Wilson, "Ms. Wilson, you see, if we keep a student with improper behavior like him, our school’s reputation is only going to get worse. For our college, I sincerely hope we can give him a lesson. He'll get hurt if we let it slide."
Ms. Wilson laughed with anger.
Having been a dean for so many years, this was her first time being lectured by a student.
Ms. Wilson pulled the corners of her mouth and said, "You're very good."
Ms. Wilson left. Mr. White looked at her with a troubled face. The little girl looked delicate on the outside, but she was so tough on the inside.
"Don't do that again," said Mr. White with a stern look.
"Okay." Roslin answered docilely.
Mr. White shook his head and left.
Half an hour later, Roslin went back to her seat. Her classmates all showed a "sure enough" expression when seeing her come back safe and sound.
As soon as the bell rang, the teacher came into the classroom in high heels.
"Be quiet."
Jane looked around the classroom, and when her eyes swept the seat in the last row by the window, her expression trembled a bit, and a look of disbelief appeared in her eyes.
She immediately thought of the new transfer student. To her surprise, the student that made Ms. Wilson so angry was such a pretty girl. "As they say, one should never judge a book by its cover."she thought to herself.
Roslin opened the book. The contents inside were both unfamiliar and familiar.
In her previous life, to please her parents, she studied very hard by doing lots of exercises. She thought that so long as she got good grades, her parents would be happy and proud of her.
