The handsome man headed straight for Nathan's table and asked with a smile, "Hi, everyone. Here for a meal?"

Nathan, Penny, Benson, Leah, and Kylie had no idea what this man was here for. So, they did not say anything, simply staring at him coldly.

Queenie, who was merely a child, replied honestly, "It's my birthday today! Papa, Mama, Grandpa, Grandma, and Auntie brought me here to celebrate! Uncle, who are you? Are you Papa's friend?"

The man smiled. "That's right. I'm your Papa's friend, Alfie Lance!”

She chuckled. "Uncle, I want a pear!"

Alfie smirked wryly. "Alright, I'll cut a pear for you then.”

He reached out for a pear and used the thin blade in his hands to peel it.

His long fingers handled the knife with ease as he peeled the pear in an eerily well-practiced fashion.

A thin and long layer of fruit skin was soon shaved off the pear.
