Salute to the General novel Chapter 1446

After Nathan returned the salute, he extended his right hand to Christopher.

Christopher bowed and used two hands to return the handshake in response. He apologized, "General, sorry I forgot to tell them that you would be arriving and caused such a major inconvenience! Please feel free to punish me!"

Nathan smiled, "I told you at the last minute and even arrived two hours early. You aren't to blame for this."

Nathan let go of Christopher and turned to Robinson and Cassandra, "However, I can't let you guys off so easily."

Christopher glanced at Robinson in confusion and hollered, "Senior Colonel Freedman, would you like to explain yourself?"

When Robinson found out that Nathan was indeed the General of the North, he turned pale and his hands turned cold.

Faced with Christopher's questioning, he replied, "Sir, there was a misunderstanding between the general and me. I didn't know of his identity, so I spoke carelessly and offended General Cross. I now offer my sincerest apologies and am willing to accept any punishment that comes my way."

Nathan scoffed, “Was it just a misunderstanding? You sure know how to change the subject! Why don't you tell Christopher about how you let this live streamer film inside a military base and leak military secrets!"

Robinson's face was drained of all color.

When Cassandra and the other live streamers were mentioned, they were scared out of their wits as well.

Christopher flew into a rage, "Robinson! Is that true?”

Robinson stammered, "Sir, Ms. Samson is a good friend of mine. She begged me to allow her in and I thought she would just be casually taking photographs...”

Christopher bellowed, "Is the military base a place you can take photographs of? You violated the law despite knowing full well it was illegal! I'm utterly disappointed in you.

I demote you to the rank of captain! I'll send you to military support and you can spend the rest of your days managing supplies!"
