Nathan and Kylie came out of the house and rode in Kylie's white BMW.

While driving, Nathan asked Kylie who was sitting next to him in the front seat, “Ms. Tonkins, where are we going?”

Kylie replied calmly, “The Cloud Palace Restaurant in Channing.”

Nathan answered, “Alright!”

Soon, both of them reached Cloud Palace Restaurant.

This restaurant was run by Thomas. Nathan used to be a regular customer here. Thus, he was very familiar with the surroundings.

As he was about to ask her curiously the reason why she was here, suddenly a man wearing a white suit appeared before them. He walked towards them and greeted Kylie, “Ms. Tonkins, this way please.”

Kylie brought Nathan and walked over. She smiled politely, “Mr. Ivan Liam, the traffic was a bit congested when we were on our way here. Have you been waiting long?”

Ivan watched at Kylie who was absolutely beautiful. Then, he couldn't hold himself and silently swallowed his saliva.

Kylie is such a gorgeous lady!

He always boasted about his amorous life as he had been involved in casual relationships with numerous young ladies. However, it was his first time meeting such a gorgeous lady. Kylie had a slender figure coupled with enchanting features as well as possessing an elegant disposition.

With a smiling face, he replied, “Not long as I also just reached a few moments ago.”

While he was speaking, he had his eyes on Nathan who was standing beside Kylie. He managed to conceal his hostile expression and with a stoic look, he asked, “Ms. Tonkins, who is he?”

Kylie answered, “Oh, I forgot to introduce him to you. He is Bay Cross, my... my friend.”

Initially, Kylie wished to introduce Bay as her cousin's bodyguard.

However, when she was about to mention that, she suddenly thought that it was inappropriate to address him as the bodyguard. After all, Bay's job was to protect Penny and her family. It was not within his job responsibility to accompany her here tonight.

Naturally, she felt out of line to tell people that Bay was the bodyguard. Hence, she changed the way she addressed him by saying that he was her friend who was accompanying her to come here.

However, once Ivan was told that the man with ordinary looks in front of him was her friend, he felt upset.

He thought to himself dismally. I am having a blind date with you. Yet, you bring your male friend over here. What is the meaning of this?

However, he concealed his grumble and put on a smile while inviting Kylie and Nathan to take their seats.
