With a grim face, Thomas stepped forward and reached out to open the gift box.

The second he caught a glimpse of the item in the box, his expression changed.

“How dare you send such a thing as a birthday gift to Mr. Cross! You're signing your own death warrant!”

Thomas threw a punch and sent Toby's subordinate flying.

The gift box fell onto the floor with a thud, and a white shroud came into view in front of everyone.

Penny and her family trembled with rage, while the guests glowered at them.

Nevertheless, Toby seemed smug and laughed aloud. “Haha. Nathan, how do you find this gift?”

Glancing at the “present” on the floor, Nathan said calmly, “I don't want to get angry in front of all my guests during my birthday, but you've successfully provoked me. I'm giving you one more chance: tell me honestly who sent you here and kneel outside the door until the banquet ends.”

He let out a burst of sardonic laughter. “I have a hundred men behind me and a few hundred more outside. I'm standing right here; give it a
