Dash turned to his assistant and interrogated, “Tell me what happened.”

The assistant quickly replied, “Sir, that is what the other party said when I pick up the call. The man claimed that the Chief Military Governor invited you over.”

Dash turned to Nathan and asked, “What do you have to say about that?”

Nathan replied with a grin, “I don't deny using those words. The Chief Military Governor did invite you over.”

Dash sneered and demanded, “Then where is the Chief Military Governor, huh? Where is he? If you can't get the Chief Military Governor to show himself to us, Nathan Cross, then that would mean that you stole his identity and faked the entire thing. That will give me the authority to go after you.”

Dash had just finished speaking when Nathan fished something out of his possession and smashed it into Dash's face.

Dash nervously replied, “N-no, not at all. I won't dare. It's just that... General, why is the Chief Military Governor's Royal Tiger Plate with you? Could it be... Did you form an alliance with the Chief Military Governor?”

Nathan was taken aback upon hearing that. He decided to keep things under the radar and lied, “Looks like you're not too stupid to guess everything.”
