Sophia was pleasantly surprised by all the masked and armed Felidae Battalion.
Flushed with excitement, she turned to Raida. “I thought you said you could handle Nathan by yourself? Why did you bring the Felidae Battalion in, though?”
Raida started breaking out in a cold sweat and was at a loss for words.
“They must have come to back you up, right?” Sophia grinned.
“After all, Nathan is the God of War and was the General of the North,” Sophia said, “It's good for us to be mindful of him.”
What?Nathan is the legendary Eurasian God of War?
Raida nearly passed out upon hearing that.
Sophia was so thrilled that she did not notice the changes on Raida's face. She did not even realize he was already trembling in fear.
In a snobbish tone, she looked at Nathan and sneered, “I know you're powerful.”
“But you'll never be more powerful than guns and bullets, and you'll never defeat the thousands of Felidae Battalion here,” Sophia smirked, “You're doomed!”
“Time for you to pay the price for offending Raida and the Daviers!”
Nathan snorted coldly, “Are you sure I'm the one who has to pay the price?”
Sophia's eyes widened in disbelief.
What a cocky man! The Chief Military Governor's men have all surrounded him, yet he still has the audacity to say that?
She wrapped her hands around Raida's arm and expressed her dismay. “Look at his attitude. Get your soldiers to take him down!”
“Ehm...” Raida's voice shivered.
Sophia finally noticed he was trembling and sweating all over. It was as if he had gone for a swim with his clothes on.
She exclaimed, “What's wrong? Are you not feeling well?”
She turned around and instructed Sage, “Hey, you. Your Chief Military Governor is sick. Come and bring him to the hospital.”
