Salute to the General novel Chapter 2036

Sage looked at Raida from the corner of his eye and kicked him away. “I'll deal with you later.”

Sage and his men then walked toward Nathan.

Sage nearly addressed him as the Chief Military Governor, but he was alert enough to hold his tongue upon reading Nathan's eye signal.

He immediately greeted him, “General!”

Nathan looked at Sage and knitted his brows.

He had warned Sage not to simply lead the Felidae Battalion out of the base as he did not want to cause unnecessary fear among the residents.

Yet, he still brought them here.

But Nathan knew he could not blame this on Sage.

After knowing Nathan had returned, Sage had sent his subordinate to protect the former in secret.

When he found out Nathan was in danger, Sage immediately deployed the Felidae Battalion over.

Nathan looked at him and asked icily, “What are you doing here?”

I'm here to protect you, sir!

But Sage could not answer that in front of so many people. He knew Nathan was mad at him for nearly exposing his secret identity as the Chief Military Governor.

Like an innocent child who acknowledged his mistake, Sage lowered his head and said, “The

Chief Military Governor found out that someone impersonated him and ordered me to lead the Felidae Battalion here to nab the impostor.”

Upon hearing that explanation, everyone finally understood what happened.

So Raida and his men are all liarslAnd it was the Chief Military Governor who sent Sage to come and expose the impostor.

Nathan was pleased with Sage's answer and decided to play along. “In that case, do what you need to do then!”

Nathan's instruction instantly put Sage in a quandary.

Dealing with Raida is easy, but how about
