Salute to the General novel Chapter 2435

Cedric's expression turned grim as soon as he saw Colin defeat Rainn.

But before he could say anything, one of the fighters from the Zartman family stepped forward and called out to Colin, “Don't try to act all tough now! I'll show you your place!”

Then, he charged toward the latter, only to be sent flying just after unleashing five moves.

Immediately after that, the other fighters of the Zartman family came forward to challenge Colin one by one. Yet, the unusually-resilient Colin took down eighteen men in one swoop, causing Cedric, the Zartman family Patriarch, to boil with rage.

The remaining fighters initially wanted to continue going after Colin.

But suddenly, Cedric destroyed the wooden coffee table next to him into pieces with one swing of his arm.

“You pieces of trash! You can't even beat Nathan Cross' subordinate!” he roared. “This is what happens when you don't take your training seriously! Step aside, all of you! I'll deal with this myself.” Everyone lowered their heads and made way for Cedric, who was well-known and feared for his short temper.

The man gazed at Colin sharply while striding toward him. With every step he took, deep footprints appeared on the hard concrete floor.

Nathan frowned slightly as he saw that.

Ever since he sparred with Claudius, he knew that talents still existed among the Reclusive Family.

The man standing right before him may not be as powerful as Claudius was, but he was still a fairly capable fighter.

Colin may be the Ultimate King of Warrior, but there was no way he could go up against Cedric after having drained his energy dealing with eighteen of the Zartman family's fighters.

“I believe you understand the concept of having a fair fight,” Nathan remarked coolly. “You’re not actually going after my subordinate, are you?”

Cedric also understood that winning a battle against Colin at this point wasn't a victory he could be proud of. “Very well,” he replied. “I won't go after your subordinate. I'll fight you instead. Do you have the courage for that, Nathan Cross?”

Nathan smiled. “Why wouldn't I?”

He then motioned for Colin to retreat before stepping forward himself.

“Let's begin.”

Cedric scoffed. “I shan't hold back, then.”

Then, he began to move as swiftly as the wind.
