Queenie answered volubly, “When Mama was practicing writing with me, she was distracted and ended up writing rows and rows of your name.”

Shooting Queenie an exasperated glare, she murmured, “If you

continue to spew nonsense, I'll give you a spanking when we get home.”

Hugging Nathan's neck, Queenie retorted, “Papa is back. With him around, I'm not afraid at all.”

When everyone burst into laughter, Penny could only look on helplessly. Usually, fathers were the ones that were strict and the children would fear them. However, Nathan pampered their daughter so much that it was the other way around in their home. Not only was Queenie not afraid of her dad, but she was also closer to him than Penny.
