Salute to the General novel Chapter 2515

That night, Nathan, Zach, and the others drank merrily. By the time everyone else was drunk, Nathan was only a tad tipsy.

He then ordered his subordinates to bring Zach and the others back to rest.

After that, he went home with his family.

By the time they got home, it was already past eleven at night.

Hank and his wife were still baffled by the fact that Nathan was the Chief Military Governor. They looked at Penny enviously and said, “Penn, you're so lucky to have found a man as incredible as Nathan.”

“Yes. I'm very lucky,” Penny replied.

“Kylie, on the other hand, is doomed. We planned to get her paired up with Zyon, but who would've thought he was actually a scammer?” Hank heaved a sigh.

Prudence was pissed off as well.

“Exactly! Luckily, Nathan found out in time. Otherwise, our daughter would be done for.”

Kylie was stumped when she heard that. In embarrassment and anger, she retorted, “Dad, Mom, what are you guys talking about? Since the beginning, I've never liked Zyon. No matter how hard you guys try to match us up, I still wouldn't want to marry him. Hence, I won't get affected even if he wasn't exposed.”

Hank glared at her and said, “Yea, you're doomed, all right. Although you've already graduated so many years ago, you're still single. I bet you won't ever be able to get married!”

Kylie bit her lips and argued, “Stay out of my personal matters. Unless I really found someone I like, I'd never get married.”

“Keep up your arrogance, then. I think you'll never get married unless you've found someone as heroic as Nathan,” Prudence uttered.

“Fine! I'll stay single for the rest of my life, then. I can stay with Penny.

Shelter and food will be provided for me, isn't that great?” Kylie said.
