Salute to the General novel Chapter 2724

The new president's term had started, and the President was Eurasia’s God of War who stunned the entire globe, Nathan Cross.

Furthermore, Nathan had been attacked during his inauguration ceremony, so his retaliation had been caught on television.

It made many people across the globe change their impression of Eurasia's power.

Hence, numerous countries had been watching Nathan's every move recently.

It was especially so for the countries that were on bad terms with Eurasia. The fear that grew in the people's hearts had been keeping them awake at night.

The most anxious person was none other than Ariarica's representative, Max.

Max, along with the seven others from the Eight-Nation Alliance, had recruited top fighters from their countries to assassinate Nathan in Eurasia.

After their plan failed, Max had been berated by his superior and suffered tremendous pressure from his higher-ups.

Recently, he found out that Nathan had kept up with a stubborn attitude when it came to dealing with international relationships. He even ignored the invitations Ariarica sent to him.

That infuriated Max.

Nathan’s term as the President had just begun, but he was already acting so arrogantly by ignoring Ariarica.

He'd only get worse as time went by!

Max felt that he could not just leave things as it was. He had to give Nathan a warning and let him know who the overlord of the world was.

Unfortunately, the prior assassination attempt had soured Ariarica's international reputation.

Thus, Bryon rejected Max's suggestion of using more forceful ways to deal with Eurasia.

Instead, he insisted on inviting Nathan to a meeting and having a proper chat with the latter. He would only consider using more forceful ways to interact with Eurasia if their chat did not work out.

Max's failure to get Bryon to accept his suggestion only enraged him even more.

Since the President won't agree to take harsher actions to deal with Nathan, I might as well skip the step of getting his approval and deal with Nathan myself.

That was the decision Max, who was sitting in his office, made as he narrowed his eyes.

He picked up the phone on the table and pressed a button before saying, “Rayner, come in.”
