Salute to the General novel Chapter 2772

Piero froze. “Huh?”

Szymon's voice sent a shiver down his spine. “Next time, never assume what I have in mind. Presumptuous people never live long.”

Piero broke out in cold sweat.

Szymon had always been unpredictable. His mood swings would always be unexpected. Living with Szymon was as dangerous as living with a tiger in its cage.

Piero shivered. “Certainly, Your Grace! That won't happen ever again!

Have you decided that you'll see Nathan, Your Grace?”

Szymon tossed the newspaper onto his desk. “Since Nathan had already come personally to my estate, people might think that I'm afraid of him if word got out that I refuse to see him!” he explained.

“Besides, there are three thousand scholars in my estate, along with countless knights who had pledged their loyalty to me. Since Nathan dared to come here to see me, I'd gladly show him my true power!”

Piero immediately agreed. “Certainly, Your Grace. We should let Nathan witness the power of our beloved Duke Thunderstorm so Nathan will know that there is always someone greater.”

Szymon guffawed. “There is always someone greater. I like this line! I am the one greater than Nathan! He should look up to me! Hahaha!”

Piero had just simply made a comment. To his surprise, he managed to stroke Szymon's ego. Hearing Szymon's laughter, Piero lifted the corners of his lips as well.

After Szymon had finished laughing, he ordered, “Ask Nathan to wait in the great hall. Tell him that I'll go there after I've changed. Other than that, inform the three thousand guests and gather all the knights to be on standby. This time, I'll make things difficult for Nathan to humiliate him.”

“Yes, Your Grace!” responded Piero loudly.

Outside the estate, the gates opened slowly.

A few cars drove into the estate in a line.

All the workers and servants in the estate could not help but stop what they were busy with and turned to look at the series of black cars that had just shown up.
