Salute to the General novel Chapter 3312

After he finished speaking, he grasped at the air with his right hand. Sevan was suddenly gripped by an invisible, powerful force around his throat. His body was lifted straight up, his feet leaving the ground, and his face contorted in pain. Grey mocked, “Be grateful for my gift!”

Then he flicked his left index finger. The drop of vibrant, tantalizing ancestral blood flew out like a bullet and shot into Sevan's body.

“Argh!”

The ancestral blood entered Sevan's body and immediately began to flow through his veins. Sevan's body was quickly infected, and his genes began to mutate. He started transforming into a vampire at an alarming speed. The process of becoming a vampire was excruciating. Sevan collapsed onto the ground in pain. His body trembled continuously. After a while, he finally calmed down.

His eyes had turned a deep crimson, and his skin had become much paler. Two sharp fangs protruded from his mouth, and his overall appearance had become significantly more handsome. However, his eyes were filled with immense sorrow and despair. Gregg laughed with great satisfaction, “Haha, mission accomplished! You are now officially a vampire. Get lost and go back to your master. I'm quite curious about what he will do after seeing you like this. Will he choose justice over family and raise his so-called righteous blade to kill you too? Hahaha!”

“All hopes in Sevan's heart had turned to ashes. He wished he could end his life then and there. However, Sevan remembered his mission and the need to report to Nathan. So he could only endure. He struggled as he got up and said viciously to Gregg, “My master will not let you off easily.”

Gregg couldn't care less. “Tomorrow, I will lead all the King-Class vampires to the peak of God's Palm and send your master to hell. You should worry more about him!”

Sevan did not respond. He merely stumbled out of the tent. When he came out, two of the Elite Eight immediately came to greet him. They noticed something unusual with Sevan, so they hurried over to support him. They inquired concernedly, “Mr. Sevan, are you alright?” Sevan shook his head.

“I'm fine. Let's go!”

The two Elite Eight replied, “Yes, sir!” Very quickly, the two Elite Eight escorted Sevan and left the vampires' camp, returning from the way they came. In the camp, the vampires knew that the trio had been released by Gregg, so no one dared to stop them. Once they left the vampire's camp, Trinity couldn't contain himself any longer.

“Mr. Sevan, what exactly happened to you?” Sevan gave a bitter smile.

“They turned me into a vampire.” Quarta exclaimed in shock, “What?” Sevan recounted everything in detail to the two Elite Eight and finally said, “I could have chosen to die, but before I do, I must return and report to Mr. Cross.”

The two Elite Eight couldn't believe Sevan had suffered such a vicious attack. Both had tears in their eyes as they listened to Sevan's story. On the other hand, Sevan had pretty much decided what he would do next.

He forced a smile and said, “Regardless of whether I'm a human or a vampire, my heart will always be human. I will always follow Mr. Cross. I just think that in my current state, it's probably not suitable for me to stay by Mr. Cross' side. After I have given my report, I'll let Mr. Cross decide what to do with me. If he tells me to leave, I'll leave; if he wants to kill me, I'll face death head-on.”

“Trinity and Quarta exclaimed, “Chief Cross is not that kind of person. He won't kill you. However, whether you can still serve under his command is another matter.” Sevan nodded, then immediately asked, “By the way, have you two completed your mission? Did the two of you manage to determine the exact coordinates of the vampire's camp as Mr. Cross instructed?”

“It's already taken care of,” Trinity replied.

“We have already confirmed the exact coordinates of the vampire's camp,” Quarta added.

Sevan was relieved. “Great. With this, we can consider our mission completed and return to report our progress.”
