Salute to the General novel Chapter 3514

Hepburn didn't hide anything. She recounted the whole incident.

Lyanna's face was full of shock after she heard that. “What did you say? A mysterious person took out Herod's core and made you stronger?”

Hepburn chuckled bitterly. “That's right. I can't shake this feeling that he's up to no good, but he has made me stronger. He wants me to lead the vampires and provide Mr. Cross with a safety net. I really can't see what's wrong with him.”

Lyanna had already recovered from her shock.

She, however, laughed and said, “I actually think this is a good thing. We, vampires, have been driven out of human territories, now forced to live in extremely cold and harsh lands devoid of human presence. Mr. Cross refuses to leave the human world, and he won't lead the vampires. With your sudden surge in power and your close relationship with Mr. Cross, I believe if you return to the vampires, you will undoubtedly command great respect and gain many people's support. Right now, the vampires are going through the toughest of times. We desperately need a leader to guide us out of this predicament.”

In fact, Lyanna still had some words left unsaid.

Nathan once ordered the vampires not to appear in the human world again. Otherwise, they would be killed without mercy.

For that very reason, Max and other vampire princes dared not defy Nathan's orders and no longer dared to lead their kin into the human world.

If Hepburn were to become the vampire queen, and if she were to lead the vampires back into the human world, as long as they did not embark on a killing spree or stir up a bloody storm, Lyanna believed that Nathan would definitely not get into action toward his close female friend.

That was also why she wholeheartedly supported Hepburn's return to the vampires and lead them.

Hepburn looked at Lyanna in astonishment. “You're supporting me too?”

Lyanna exclaimed loudly, “Of course! Why wouldn't I support you? We decided to stay in Eurasia's Brimmopolis. Although Mr. Cross hasn't voiced any objections, I'm certain he's not too pleased with our decision to stay here. Since you plan to return to the vampires and lead us to secure a way out for Mr. Cross, of course I'll agree!”

Realizing she had even Lyanna's support, Hepburn finally made up her mind and said, “All right, then. Let's pack up and prepare to leave this place. We're heading back to Adrune to where the vampires are.”

Lyanna excitedly said, “Okay!”
