Everyone stared at Nathan, startled.
Kylie looked at Nathan as a sense of jealousy arose in her.Nathan truly loves his wife.
While Nathan did adore his wife, Penny maintained her rationality. After all, she was no queen. If not to win the money her father had lost, she would not have come to a place like this.
Now that she had lost so much as well, each chip in her hand seemed to weigh even heavier than before.
Fearing to continue, she whispered to Nathan, "Darling, she's good at this. I'm no match for her. Why don't you do it instead?"
Nathan answered confidently, "Sure."
At that, Nathan entered the game.
At the same time, a man in a black suit led his men into the casino. It was Javion.
Javion gestured to Scarlett to move aside.
Then, he sat down on her seat and introduced, "I'm the owner of the club, Javion Schulz. Since we have honored guests today, I hope you don't mind me joining you for a game or two."
Nathan glanced at Javion and asked, "You're from the Schulz family?"
Javion had on a smile that did not quite reach his eyes. "That's right. I'm from the Schulz family."
Nathan nodded. "Let's begin then."
The dealer took out a new set of cards. After shuffling and dealing the cards, he said to Javion, "Mr. Schulz, you'll be the banker for the round.”
Javion had an ace of spades face-down and a pair of jacks face-up.
A look at Nathan's cards told him that the other man had a pair of 10s face-up. His cards were larger than Nathan's.
Technically, he had a higher chance of winning.
Therefore, he threw out ten million worth of chips. With cold, smiling eyes, he said, "Ten million. Call?"
Nathan's lips curled into a smile. His next words shocked everyone. "Show hand."
Show hand?
Not only did Javion's eyes widen in shock, but the rest of the people around the two had nearly had their hearts escape through their throats.
