Right then, in the living room.
Leah was pointing at the door while shouting at Sean and his family, "Get lost! You're not welcomed in this house. You set my husband up to owe ten billion worth of debt! Now you're cursing my son-in-law to die, and you're asking my daughter to marry someone else. What cruel hearts do you have?"
Sean huffed, "I don't need to elaborate on how powerful the Schulz family is, do I? You know how powerful the head of the Smiths in Alberesque is too. I'm sure Nathan is dead by now. We're convincing Penn to marry Freddie for your sake."
After listening, tears brimmed in Penny's eyes. She mumbled in a trembling voice, "No. Nathan won't die."
Sean sneered, "Even if one learned Taichi for ten years, it's incomparable to a year of learning the Cannon Fist. Mr. Louie Smith, the head of the Smiths in Alberesque, has been practicing the Cannon Fist for thirty years. He's a master of it. A punch can kill a bull. Killing Nathan would be as easy as drinking a cup of water."
Tears streamed down Penny's cheek as she shook her head. "No, no. You must be lying. I'm going to look for him now.”
Penny ran toward the door as she sobbed.
Just as she reached the door, she collided with a broad chest.
She raised her damp face to find out the person she had collided with was none other than Nathan.
Nathan looked at Penny's upset expression then reached out to wipe her tears away. He murmured, "Silly, why aren't you sleeping? It's the middle of the night. Why are you crying and running out?"
Instead of answering his questions, Penny spread her arms out to hug him tightly.
She sobbed, "Nathan, you're alive. I'm glad. I'm so glad!"
Nathan patted her head gently and consoled, "Why would I not be? No one in this world can kill your husband yet."
After consoling her, Nathan turned to look at Sean and his family with a deadly glare.
