Salute to the General novel Chapter 648

In the afternoon, Nathan drove to the kindergarten to pick up Queenie.

Upon returning home, they saw a large group of people arguing in the living room.

It was Sean and the rest of the Smith's.

They were here to berate Penny for bringing this catastrophe upon them, urging her to divorce Nathan as soon as possible.

When Leah and Benson heard about how the pharmaceutical tycoon whom Nathan had injured was the brother of General Bachok and how the latter was coming for revenge, they were terrified.

Penny's face was pale and regret shone in her eyes. Despite that, she bit her lip and stood her ground. "Grandpa, stop trying to get me to divorce Nathan. I'm not leaving him, ever! The only reason he'd hurt Varog was that he was trying to save me. Now that Bachok is coming, I'm willing to bear the consequences, together with Nathan.

Sean roared, "Bear the consequences?

How? Do you have any idea what trouble you've already caused us? We've already lost one billion because of you, yet you still don't see the error of your ways!"

"I'm not leaving Nathan and that's final! I'll die with him if I have to!"

Sean was so angry his entire body was shaking.

The rest of the Smith's cursed Penny for being a jinx, bringing such misfortune upon them, being so unreasonable, in addition to that.

At that moment, Nathan entered, while carrying Queenie in his arms. There was a hard look on his face when he spoke, "Are you guys done yet?"

The appearance of Nathan had Sean and the others growing wary.

Gripping his crutch tighter, Sean glared at the younger man as he spat, "You detestable brat! How dare you speak like that when you've gone and gotten us into so much trouble?"

Nathan's tone was calm when he replied, "All I'd done, was teach a man from Avalon a lesson; I don't feel like I've done anything wrong. Besides, my family matters are none of your concern. Please leave."

"Easy for you to say! Do you know that Southeast Asia's Warlord, Bachok Khan, is coming to get revenge for his brother?
