Salute to the General novel Chapter 83

When Sean and the rest of the family members heard Felix's words, they all became visibly excited.

Sean grabbed onto Felix's hand, being quite emotional. "Yes, yes, yes! Mr. Felix, if you can get rid of that useless Nathan Cross, our whole family is willing to accept Penny and her child back."

"And I also promise to marry her off to you. We Smiths will become in-laws with you Logans."

Samuel was concerned, "Nathan Cross is pretty useless, but he's somehow gotten Benson's family eating out of his hand. I'm worried that Penny won't agree to leave him."

Felix narrowed his eyes and answered, "Don't worry. I'll take care of both getting rid of Nathan Cross and winning Penny's heart."

The Smiths could not hide their wide grins as they nodded fervently.

Felix continued to converse with Sean and his family for a while before taking his men and leaving the Smith house.

After taking off, one of Felix's most capable men, Wraith, could not help but speak up, "Mr. Logan, Penny is a used woman. Is she worth it?"

Felix adjusted his gold-rimmed glasses and narrowed his eyes. "I naturally wouldn't really take her as my wife, but she's recently taken control of an important project in Channing. This project has a large profit margin. Once I have her, the project will also be mine.”

Wraith' eyes widened. "So Mr. Felix is actually only intending to use her!"

The corners of Felix's mouth turned upwards, "I came here to establish myself.

I need to use the shortest amount of time to get the best results and prove myself to my father. Penny Smith will be a good stepping stone."

"Once I have her company and the project, who's going to interfere with whether I actually marry her or not?"

"Also, she's quite pretty. I wouldn't mind having a little fun with a young, married woman like her.”

Wraith grinned knowingly, "Then let me be the first to congratulate Mr. Felix in getting both the woman and the money."

At the ground floor of the Cross Corporation.
