I called him a few more times, but Theo never answered.
Could he be so busy that he had no way of answering the phone?
I could not just sit and wait without hearing anything from him.
I wanted to go to the company to look for Theo, but just when I moved my feet, I recalled Samuel's agreement. I already left him, so how could I appear now?
My eyes slowly reddened, and I was nervous. As I was pacing, I had a flash of inspiration. I could still call Marius and ask him to help me pay a visit to Grant Corporation.
"Yes, I can call him."
Grabbing my phone as if it were a hot potato, I almost dropped it. I took in a deep breath and called Marius. He practically answered within a second, "Sis Wan."
"Marius, can I ask you for a favor? Can you—"
Marius had guessed what I was going to say and cut me off before I could even finish. "I know. I'm en route to Grant Corporation now. I'll let you know when I learn something."
"Alright, thank you."
My heart felt heavy after I ended the call. Now, I could only wait to hear from Marius. I could not do anything.
Coming out of the room, Petra immediately came up to me when she saw the state I was in. "How did you end up like this from just a call? Just what in the world happened?"
Even though Petra had pulled me over to take a seat on the sofa, it took me a while to come back to my senses. I looked at her and Grayson who were looking at me worriedly.
Regardless, I should tell them about Neil.
Thinking this, I slowly opened my mouth and revealed, "Theo does indeed have a younger brother from another mother. His name is Neil Hendersohn. I met him back then when I was living at Susan's apartment…"
