Chapter 366
But it was okay, at least this time she could face it in silence, unlike her previous hysterical reaction.
She believed that someday, her love would come and go with the wind – arriving with its gusts and departing in its calm.
“Remington, what’s up?” From the other end, Martin noticed Remington staring off into the distance of the hallway and asked.
Remington snapped out of his daze, thinking to himself that he must have been too affected by that woman, feeling restless all day, to have such illusions. He always felt like that woman was watching him, but clearly, there was no one there.
“It’s nothing, just a draft here. Let’s not let Godmom catch a cold; shall we head back inside?”
He stepped forward to personally assist Barbara.
Stella moved aside, pointing at the jacket on her arm, “Remington, you left your jacket in the hospital room this morning. I brought it for you.”
Remington had rushed out from the hospital that morning after hearing about the spat between Lizetta-
and Hanna.
He nodded at Stella, “Thanks.”

“But they’re so cute; can I feed them then?”
“Of course, you can. The cat food is over there; I’ll show you. But next time, you need an adult with you, okay?”
“Why?”
“Cats are cute, but they can be quite mischievous.”
Stella led the child away, and only then did Lizetta realize she had been staring for quite some time.

kind–hearted, well–bred, with a charming appearance.
“Hmph.”
Lizetta suddenly found her own spying on Stella both pathetic and amusing. She chuckled lightly and was about to turn away when she bumped into a warm, solid figure.
Lizetta tried to step back; but the person swiftly wrapped his arms tightly around her waist, pulling her back into his embrace, surrounding her with his familiar scent.
