"Do you even eat like a human? No! You must be surviving on human blood! Old bast*rd, not only do you want my daughter's kidneys, you even try to frame her for all those crimes. You think that she doesn't have someone to depend on or someone who would defend her, don't you? Well, you are wrong! There's me! I am going to defend my daughter! You old bast*rd who only dares to bully to weak! You think that you are the almighty man who could just take whoever's life as you please? You tried to harm my daughter over and over again by insulting and humiliating her, because you thought that she had no one to back her up, right? Let me tell you something, you old bast*rd, I am my daughter's back-up! Anyone o f you try to hurt her and I'll murder every last member of your family! I've already become a stray who sleeps i n the sewers everyday, what else do I have to be afraid of?"
Her words shook every person standing at the scene and rendered them speechless. Some had started pointing the blame towards the old Master Shaw.
"You stubborn old bast*rd, how could someone look so decent while being so immoral on the inside?"
"You are the one who should die!"
"You have lived for so long, why aren't you dead yet?" "I've heard of stealing and robbery, but it's the first
time ever that I see someone try to manipulate another's life the way you do!"
"Go to hell, you old bast*rd!"
The old Master Shaw did not hear the insults toward him from the crowd, he didn't even try to wipe the spit off his face. "Wh-what's your name?" he asked.
The stray woman spat again. "You have no right to ask for my name. I would be disgusted to tell you my name! H
Old master Shaw was still struggling to find his words.
"Scram!" she barked, before turning to glare at Lincoln, who was barely standing even with his attempt to lean onto the wall. Her voice was filled with boundless despair and helplessness when she shouted, "Lincoln Lynn! You refused to raise your own daughter or acknowledge her, but have I ever blamed you for that? I sent my daughter to you and you had the audacity to ask that I pay for her monthly expenses, but have I ever refused to pay? Eight years! Our daughter stayed b y your side for eight whole years and has she ever been shown even a shred of affection from her father? Have you even celebrated her birthday for you, even for once? Wait, you did! The only time you celebrated her birthday was out of the intention of framing my daughter into being the scapegoat for the daughter between you and that homewrecker.
Lincoln couldn't argue.
"Lincoln Lynn! Aren't you afraid that I will haunt you
after my death?"
"Auntie...you are Lincoln Lynn's ex-wife, right? You are Lincoln Lynn's ex-wife! Then you must be my aunt! Auntie..." Marcus kneeled and shouted, but the stray woman acted as though she couldn't hear a word. Instead, she continued to stare daggers at Lincoln with her hazy eyes filled with pain.
"You lied to me, chased me out and imprisoned me. I have endured whatever you did to me because I had to think for my daughter, but now, you won't even let my daughter be! Lincoln Lynn! Why are you still alive?"
Lincoln moved back gingerly, as he studied the stray woman before him with fear in his eyes. "You...you... how are you still alive? Are you human or a ghost?" he stuttered.
A chilling sneer appeared on the stray woman's face.
"Of course I am human!"
