Sabrina froze. "Which woman?"
Marcus immediately explained. "Sabbie, this is my fault. That... That cousin of mine, Lori... She works for a finance firm. She somehow managed to convince m y dad, your uncle."
She was instantly displeased as soon as she heard Lori's name.
"I don't know what she told my dad, but my dad gave her my business card. She then took my business card with her and went to the Ford Group, saying something about discussing investments."
"..." Sabrina stormed out at the speed of lightning at his words.
"Sabrina, Sabrina!" Yvonne called out after her.
Sabrina had already arrived by the entrance. She looked back and said to Yvonne and Ruth, "Help me inform the office that I need half a day off!"
After that, she disappeared. She caught a taxi and went straight to the Ford Group. Sabrina had always wanted to go to Sebastian's company. However, though she was the real Mrs. Ford that Sebastian had already made a public announcement about, she knew nothing about the operation of his firm; besides, she
had her own profession to focus on. He was completely capable of managing his empire on his own, and as his woman, she did not want to cause any negative influence to her man.
Half an hour later, Sabrina arrived at the Ford Group. Because she rarely visited, not many in the Ford Group knew who she was.
Sabrina pushed forward in her heels at a brisk pace, but was stopped by the receptionist who worked at the front desk.
"Madam, may I know who you are looking for?"
"Sebastian Ford!"
The receptionist stood in her way, determined. "I'm sorry, Madam! Director Ford doesn't have the time to spare for anyone who comes to see him! Do you have a n appointment?"
"Call Kingston," Sabrina said to the receptionist, "and tell him I'm Sabrina."
