Zayn had such a cathartic release from bawling out. Perhaps it was because Hana was the only suitable person Zayn could turn to. He was very close to Sabrina, but she was pregnant, so he could not upset her. What about his parents? They were even more so unable to take such a blow. Therefore, Hana became the best person for him to vent his sorrows.
After crying for half an hour, Zayn had calmed down quite a bit. He lifted his head and looked at Hana apologetically. "I'm sorry, Madam Sharpe. I truly was i n shock. I'm sorry you had to see that."
"It’s fine, Master Zayn.” Hana felt more relaxed.
"Don’t call me Master Zayn, and don't call me Mister Smith either. Just call me Zayn," said Zayn.
Hana nodded. "Zayn, don't be sad. You have to be strong. You still have your parents, who need your care, so you can’t collapse."
"I know. Thank you, Miss Sharpe."
"Why did you change the way you address me to Miss Sharpe?" asked Hana with puzzlement.
Zayn smiled with sorrow. "I used to call you Madam Sharpe, but I always had trouble doing that because you’re only eight years older than me. All is good now. I finally don’t have to feel awkward anymore since I have already broken up with Tessa."
"Zayn, I...I am very sorry. Tessa...” Hana said.
"I don't blame her," Zayn said with a smile.
Zayn suddenly felt relieved. That was because he had always felt that there was a generation gap between him and Tessa. However, all was well. It was Tessa who dumped him. He did not need to have any psychological burden anymore.
"If it was any other girl, it also would not be possible for her to live with a man without the ability in that aspect. Isn't that just the same as entering a living hell? I understand,” Zayn consoled Hana instead.
