Still Wanna Escape After Stealing My Heart? novel Chapter 1746

Evenn if her daughter did not acknowledge Hana as her mother, her daughter was still Hana's weak spot. She could not stand listening to the possibility of her daughter's life being ruined and having to follow in her mother's footsteps in the future. As long as her daughter could have a bright future, live a happy life, get married and have children, as well as a husband who loved her, Hana felt that it would be worth it even if she died. It would also be worth it even if her daughter did not acknowledge her as her mother for life. Perhaps such was Hana's fate in this life, and she was ready to resign to her fate. However, the catch was if her daughter could be happy and obediently go t o college. After that, get a job and find a good man to marry.

Hector looked at Hana, whose stance would not be any softer, and said, "From now on, you have to save five thousand dollars a month for my daughter as her wedding gift in the future!"

"Alright," Hana promised without even thinking about it. She still had more than a hundred dollars on hand. She was still young. If she were to work a few more jobs and work harder, she could still make almost five thousand dollars a month. If all else failed, she could save on her daily expenses. She had no other goals in life anymore. She was just working for her daughter to live a good life.

"However, I have a condition,” Hana said slowly.

Hector sneered. "How are you to talk about conditions with me?"

Hana continued, "Open an account under both our names. You will input half the password and I will input the other half!"

"You!” Hector said.

"If you don't agree, then I will just end my life now!" said Hana coldly. Since her daughter no longer acknowledges her as her mother, then what is the point for Hana to be alive? She might as well just end i t. If she could still fight for a share of wealth for her daughter in the remaining years of her life, then Hana was willing to live soullessly like the walking dead, even if she could only take a look at her daughter from afar.

Seeing Hana looking so despondent, Hector had no choice but to agree. "Alright! As you wish! It's for my daughter, after all!”

That night, after Hector walked out of the village that they had once lived in, Hana remained there alone, crying while hugging her daughter's little clothes. Her cries attracted neighbors who got up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The neighbor, a man and a woman, took Hana home and gave her a cup of hot water to drink. The man consoled her. "My child, you truly have a miserable life. How could you have met such a d*mned man like Hector Laven?”

The woman wiped Hana's tears away. "Don't cry anymore, my child. Everybody in the village knows what kind of man Hector is. The entire village resented him for what he had done behind your back when you were pregnant. If you want to take Hector to court, all of us from the village can be your witness," said the woman. She told Hana that because she truly was furious.

Hana, however, shook her head.

"My child, do you still have feelings for that gambling addict?" The man looked at Hana in puzzlement.

Hana shook her head again. "My daughter...my daughter is too pitiful. In order to raise my daughter, I had never been by her side when she was growing up. I had never hugged her to sleep anymore since she was two months old. Even if there were a hundred things bad about Hector, he still loves my daughter. H e had taken great care of her. My daughter is very happy being together with him. If I truly take Hector t o court, then my daughter will certainly be ruined for life. I can't let my daughter walk the same path that I did. I don't wish to ruin my daughter..."

The man felt sorry for Hana. "My child, Tessa doesn't acknowledge you as her mother..."

"It’s fine. It doesn't matter. If she doesn't acknowledge the fact that I am her mother, then so be it. I...I just want to be able to look at her from far away. Just one look and I am content with it." Said Hana.

Seeing Hana like that, the woman was covered in tears. "You truly are a mother. Which mother wouldn't die for their own children? Poor Hana. Why is your life so miserable? That child...Tessa is still young. When she grows up, gets married and has her own children, she will understand her mother’s difficulties."

"Hana, you poor child with a miserable life. Your sufferings will certainly come to and end and good things will come."

That night, Hana spent the night in the neighbor's house.
