Sabrina soon realized she had underestimated how fast his train of thoughts truly was when she was carried into the bedroom. They had mentioned Ryle Poole in the car after work and that swiftly turned into a discussion of whether she had a rest day over the weekend; they were just talking about exchanging contact and the man's thought seemed to have traced back to the matter with Ryan as soon as he slammed the bedroom door behind him. 1
"Is your man better than Ryan Poole?" he asked.
"...I don't know." Sabrina barely even knew Ryan in person, how was she to judge whether he was better?
"You don't know?" he smirked and continued, "Well, then you will have to be punished!"
"You...you are better than him."
"And who am I?" he asked relentlessly.
"My...my husband is better than Ryle Poole...a hundred times better," she caved and muttered.
The last thought that filled Sabrina right before she fell asleep that night was how vengeful Sebastian was. The only reason he did not mention anything when they were in the car turned out to be that he had worst way he could torture Sabrina afterwards. That night, Sabrina was so exhausted that she went into dreamless sleep all the way until the next day.
When she opened her eyes the next morning and saw what was laid out before her, Sabrina was once again rendered speechless at the discovery that it wasn't Sebastian's focus all over the place, he simply tended t o process different things at the same time. He spoke o f jewelry and luxury products yesterday as he was carrying her into the bedroom and before her eyes as soon as she woke up was a box filled with rare jewels b y the bed.
Sabrina's eyes widened in awe at the sight. Though she couldn't begin to distinguish the difference between jadeite and nephrite or tell gems from diamonds, but from the splendid colours that were shining through them and the coral beads that were a s red as fresh blood, she could tell that this small box o f jewels could easily worth a few duplexes.
"These should be enough for you to brag in front of the mothers of your daughter's classmates." A seductively low voice drawled from behind her.
She was at a loss for words. Sabrina, who was often composed and rarely showed eagerness towards luxury, had finally caved before the sight. She turned t o look at the half-naked man who was propping himself from the bed with one arm and staring at her lazily. "Are you being this nice to me to make your daughter happy?"
"If...If I am to give... give birth to a few more children for you, are you going to...give me a chest filled with jewels with every child I give you?" she asked with an innocent expression that was almost child-like.
Little did she realize that her rare demonstration of an innocent side was deadly seductive when compared t o her normal appearance of self-constraint and indifference. Sebastian leaped and pinned her down beneath him wordlessly and before she could react. His eager lips had already descended and connected with hers. No word was needed between them at that very moment.
It was ten o'clock when Sabrina finally came to her senses. She wiggled her way away from Sebastian's arms with a blush and got dressed hurriedly.
"Aino, Aino!" She pulled open the bedroom door and ran out shouting, but there was no response from Aino.
