Aino was so happy that her eyes sparkled. "Yes! Of course, I'm so happy!"
"Then, we’ll wait for Uncle Zayn patiently. When his leg is better, he’ll come home, okay?" Sabrina comforted Aino patiently.
Aino nodded obediently.
Actually, Aino was not the only one who missed Zayn.
Sabrina missed him too.
They were family and were relying exclusively on each other for six years, so how could she not miss him?
"My brother, he...did he say...that he missed me?" Sabrina asked, a lump in her throat.
On his end, Nigel replied, "Your brother said...even though initially he was the one who guided you two as the both of you fled from South City, throughout the years that you spent in exile, most of the time you were the one taking care of him. He broke his leg when you just gave birth to Aino. Back then, you had t o take care of both him and Aino at the same time. To buy him some nutritious food, you even sold your blood for money. Aino was a mere baby at that time, but still you went to work at a construction site, doing rough labor like a man. You were so thoroughly exhausted every day after you came home that you
barely had the strength to eat." 2
At this, Nigel swallowed, a sob entering his voice.
After a short pause, he finally continued, "But even though life was so tough, you bought him a wheelchair with your first month's salary, and pushed him out every day to get some sunlight. Your brother said that, even though there will never be any romantic feelings between the two of you, but with a sister like you who has been by his side through thick and thin for the past six years, he can die with no regrets.
"He said you’re the most staunchly loyal woman on the planet.
"Sabrina, I lost you all those years ago.
"I’ll regret it for the rest of my life.
