"Good question" Hannah arched up her brow as she studied the lines on Jessica's face. She was just a puppet in their hand, they used her, and now her father remains to be unavailable at that moment that she needed him. She heard from her step-sister that he had no intention of releasing her dowry to her. This wasn't part of the plan, she wouldn't sign for a death deal, it was for the one she cared about.

"That needed to be answered right now!" She ordered which only made Hannah burst into laughter. She looked at her wondering what was amusing her, she had not said anything funny and couldn't tell why she was laughing so hysterically.

Jessica's whimpered on the ground, and her eyes met with Hannah's cold gaze. "I did everything that you people, do you know why I accepted to be this stand-in bride? Do you?" She yelled and Jessica shook her head.

"I only did it for my mother, I didn't choose who I am, I never chose to be born to that man and neither did I choose to be part of this deal, but you people gave me no choice, and for that, you must pay for it"

"What are you thinking? What are you planning to do?"

"What do you think? Do you think that I will let you live after what you people did to me"

"If you do anything stupid you Bastard, my family will come for you, you know you married a peasant who cannot even defend you, he might use his skills to fight but that is all he can do.
