"Yes I admit that the gown was stained, but I have already cleaned it up before bringing it here, I will never bring over something unclean and Stained to you because I know that I hired it" Hannah's eyes were cold and unblinking. They might be ridiculing but she couldn't care less.
Their words didn't get to her at all.
"Shut your mouth, How can you say that you cleaned up such filthy clothes" One of the store attendants snapped and glared at her.
Any other person would have been intimidated by that look in her eyes but definitely not her, she was not the sort of woman who would back down and let them walk over her like some garbage.
"Shouldn't you have checked before you handed it over it me, you can see that the stain on the clothes, I cleaned it up" Hannah was still trying to explain to the store attendant
"Stop talking! I don't want your silly explanations, all I need from you is for you to admit that you ruined it. How can't you do it? You are obviously poor and couldn't afford to buy one, that is why you came to rent one"
"I wonder why poor people chooses to get married, what a waste of time and consideration for us. Do not ever think about getting married a second time when you don't even have the money to get yourself a gown, now, You had to stain it"
"What a lowlife! If I were you, I wouldn't even think about getting married ever again!" She scoffed glaring at Hannah. Hannah could feel her hate for poor people. Before she can open her mouth to say something, her eyes falls on those familiar Grey eyes as he made his way into the store.
"If I were you, I would never show my face to the rest of the town, I wondered how you smelled on that day" Another attendant squeezed her face.
She looked at Shawn and remained silent.
"That's enough! Is that how you treat your customers? Shouldn't you have some decency? She already returned the gown that she rented, you should leave it that way and not make a fuss over nothing" Shawn was quick to speak up.
"You know, with the manner that you speak, I wonder between the both of you who is a peasant, at least she was able to rent her gown, perhaps you wouldn't even have a gown to wear on your day" He controlled himself from reaching across the table and strangling the annoying attaendant.
Hannah's had no clue he would come around and even stand up for her. Though, she had it covered and was just waiting for the right time to give them a taste of their own medicine.
While Shawn was talking, the store attendants glared at him, eyeing him up and down, one of them laughed. "This must be the unfortunate man you got married to, shouldn't you have done any better? At least if you were going to get married, you would have at least chosen who is not stupid and poor yet tried to act rich just because he got married to a beautiful wife"
"Have you lost your mind, you savages!" Right there, Hannah who had been silent all along knew that she needed to give them what they were asking for. She chooses to be silent all along so she can see if they will shut the hell up, and accept the fact that she cleaned up her gown before returning it.
However, those callous attendants just didn't get it and tried to trample on her, the only thing was they picked the wrong person.
"What? Savages"
"Yes you are all savages, if you were all rich then you wouldn't even be here, you would be in one of those cities and doing your thing, you would not even need to work in such a store, perhaps you are just as you look; plastic and pathetic!"
"Plastics?" The attendants lips quivered, she was amazed
