Mia was increasingly sensing something was off in her husband's words. Then, she wedged herself between them, separating Chad and her husband's hands.

"Chad, we gotta bounce. Catch you later." Mia said.

Pulling her husband by the hand, Mia loaded him into the car.

This was the first time in Andre's life that his wife had shoved him into the car so dismissively. Jade was completely puzzled, but she hid behind Chad, whispering that something was wrong with Mia's husband.

Chad, too, took Jade's hand, turned around, and got into the car. Instead of going home, he went to the scar department of the hospital.

Inside the car, Mia's anger was palpable, even without her uttering a word, Leo in the backseat could feel it. He was thinking to himself, did he piss her off?

Leo stared at Andre, who was driving. Did Andre do something to piss her off? Then he looked again at the angry woman in the co-driver's seat, her arms crossed. She was as moody as ever, was she on her period or something?

Once home, before getting out of the car, Mia didn't look at her husband. She just ordered him, "You, wait for me in the study!"

Andre was speechless.

Leo frowned. Looking at the furious woman, he whispered to Andre, "Who was she bossing around just now, you or me?"

Andre shot back, "Do you have a study at home?"

Leo said, "Oh man! Mia really wears the pants at home, huh? She's actually shouting at you and ordering you around?!"

Taking a deep breath, Andre tossed the car keys to Leo, "Lock up."

For the first time, he knew the fear of being summoned to the study to admit his mistakes. He was a little nervous and uneasy. So this was how his employees felt every time they were summoned to his office. It was an uncomfortable feeling. He decided he should be more affable and forgiving to them in the future.

He arrived at the study and knocked on the door.

"Come in." His wife finally spoke.

Andre pushed the door open, spotting the little girl leaning against his desk. He walked in and closed the door. "Mia, I was planning to tell you all this when we got home."

"So you couldn't help but tell Chad at school that Jade might be your sister?" Mia asked.

Mia was pissed off. Her husband had told her he believed Jade wasn't his sister, but then he turned around and told the Byrne family that Jade was his sister.

How could she not be mad? He had even kept this from his own wife!

Andre said, "The blood test results are out. Jade's blood type was A when she was born, but her medical record lists her blood type as O. I know you're upset with me right now, and you think I'm a jerk trying to tear your friend's family apart. If it turns out that Jade is my sister, you won't know how to interact with her. So, Mia, don't be rash, let me explain."
