Sweet Mischief's Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 202

Andre chuckled and walked into the living room, pulling his lovely wife who was having a riotous time, "Let's take a break."

"Sure." Mia handed her phone to Hansen, grinning from ear to ear, "I'm done playing with you. I'm off to spend time with my husband. You play by yourself."

"Hmph! Who cares about playing with you?" Hansen huffed. Even though he was actually upset, "I'll go play with my grandson."

The butler reminded, "Hansen, Mr. Leo is in the hospital."

"Get the car ready. I'll go to the hospital to play games with my grandson." Hansen said.

Butler was speechless.

Jade's leg had healed and she was astonished by everything that had happened during this period.

That day, after hearing that she felt cold in her feet, Andre had a foot warmer sent over that very night. Then, all sorts of gifts started showing up at her house. Chad was sometimes annoyed by all of it.

When Andre came to pick up his wife from school, he sometimes suggested having a meal together. Jade flatly refused and went to her brother instead. What surprised her the most was that Andre not only bought gifts for Mia when he came back from his business trip but also for her. What was that all about? She threw it away.

Mia said, "That diamond is worth a fortune."

Jade picked it back up, "Mia, is there something wrong with your husband?"

Mia said, "That's just how he is."

"No, Mia, you can't be so easygoing just because you're his woman. Think about it, he's so nice to me, and I would never accept his kindness because you're like family to me. But other women might not feel the same. Remember how Leo got hit because of a woman last time? Andre can't just stop caring about you and start chasing other women once he's got you. That kind of man deserves to die." Jade was indignant on behalf of her friend.

She returned the diamond that Andre had given her to Mia, "Take this back, throw it in his face, and tell him that you and I are friends for life and he better not try to ruin our friendship. And you, Mia, show some backbone. If he tries to flirt with other women, can you give him a beating?"

Mia was too exhausted to care. The previous night, her husband had kept her up late. As she dozed off on the table, Jade's misunderstanding came to her ears. She pushed the diamond back, "You keep it. You and I can't be friends forever, we're bound to become family. My husband is a clean-living man, and he's not pursuing other women. He's just being genuinely nice to you."

"Ugh, is he sick? He should be nice to you, why is he nice to me?" Jade asked.

Mia struggled to open her eyes, looking at Jade, thinking, “You're his sister, how could he not be nice to you?”

"Stop bothering me, I'm tired." Mia said. Married people needed to catch up on sleep.

In her dreams, Mia was having a blast. She dreamt of herself trampling on Andre, hopping on his back, and bullying him. It was so satisfying.

That day, when Andre had gifts delivered, he had the secretary prepare two sets.

"Mr. Cedillo, may I ask, are these gifts prepared for your wife and you just thought to include a set for Ms. Jade? Or were they originally for Ms. Jade and you got a set for your wife too so she wouldn't get upset?" The secretary asked.

Andre asked, "What do you mean by that?"

Alice voiced her thoughts, "If it's the former, as someone with experience, I suggest you. One gift, given to the wife, she will be very happy. But if you give two to two people, the wife's happiness might be diminished. Perhaps, she might think that you're giving her a gift just to stop her from complaining. If it's the latter, it means there might be trouble in the president's marriage."

Andre asked, "Are you saying Mia isn't happy with the gifts?"

Women understood women the best.

Alice nodded, "Any woman would want to be the only one in her husband's heart. No matter who, a wife's position can't be replaced. Even though your wife knows Ms. Jade's real identity, she might still feel a sense of loss. She's not saying anything now because she understands you. But if this becomes a habit, it will be a potential issue in your marriage, making your love life unstable."
