Sweet Mischief's Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 326

She adjusted her sitting position slightly, letting her feet touch the ground, "Does this feel more normal now?"

Andre still looked quite skeptical, "After dinner, I'll measure your height with a ruler at home to see if you're short of calcium and your legs have shrunk."

"Dear, don't you trust me?"

Andre looked at his wife's legs, which indeed seemed a bit shorter.

Before long, the four chefs of the Cedillo family had served up the dishes they prepared for Mia.

Mia picked up her utensils, hoping her husband would join her, "Eating alone is so lonely, it shrinks my appetite."

Andre was very strict with his diet, so he called out to one of the servants, "Go get my father."

Soon Hansen arrived, huffing and puffing.

After dinner, Andre fetched a ruler from the storage room. He had his wife stand against the wall while he took a pen to measure her height.

Hansen, who had just finished eating and was strolling around to aid digestion, curiously approached them to see what they were up to.

"How tall is Mia?" he asked as he approached.

Andre looked at the number on the ruler, "Still around the same number, she hasn't shrunk."

Mia exclaimed excitedly, "See, I told you my legs haven't shrunk, but you didn't believe me. Andre, don't you love me anymore?"

Andre was left speechless. He had already given her his heart, yet she was still unsatisfied.

"Measure both of my legs. See how long they are." Mia requested.

Andre crouched down and began to measure his beloved wife's legs with the ruler.

"Dear, the ruler should reach my waist, not just my thighs. My legs start from below the chest."

Andre, "Alright, alright, I'll measure your waist." Andre, in a teasing manner, almost placed the ruler under her armpit. "Okay, done. My Mia is a long-legged beauty."

Upon hearing that she was indeed long-legged, Mia happily made some room and pointed to the wall, "Dad, you should measure yourself too. See if you've shrunk."

Hansen was unwilling. He took a glance at his son and comforted himself. He was almost as tall as his son when he was young. Now that he was old, it was natural to had shrunk a bit.

Andre held the ruler and asked his father, "Do you want to measure?"

"No." Hansen haughtily straightened his back, trying to appear taller, and walked away from the couple with his cane.

Mia muttered to her husband, "Still defending his dignity. Even without measuring I know he's not as tall as you."

Hansen, who hadn't walked far away, was quite irritated. If it weren't for the fact that his daughter-in-law was pregnant, he would have kicked them out.

He decided to find a good child to comfort his bruised ego. But which one of them was good?

"Where's my daughter?"

...

Now that the opening ceremony was over, Molly finally made her appearance.
