Andre took a deep breath in the office, with the financial manager standing in front of him, waiting for his decision.

A hint of helplessness flashed in Andre's deep eyes, as he just got scolded by his wife.

"I promise, I'll be home tonight."

"No, I need to see you now." Mia shouted into her phone at Andre in the hall.

After hanging up the phone, she turned to the receptionist and said, "Alright, I have an appointment with Andre, let me in, I need to see him."

The receptionist was still in a daze, "You, you, you are the CEO's wife?"

This girl looked too young, plus, the CEO was already married?

Mia nodded, "I rushed out and forgot to bring our marriage certificate. Shall I call our butler to bring some documents to prove my identity?"

The receptionist quickly shook her head. "Ma'am, please hold on, we need to confirm it."

Although Mia's words and attitude seemed very real, they decided to bite the bullet and contact one of the CEO's secretaries to verify Mia's claim.

The receptionist contacted the CEO's assistant and explained the situation.

The secretary had no idea that the CEO was married and said, "This woman might be a scammer, just kick her out."

But since Andre wouldn't see her, Mia glanced at the couch not far away, "Fine, I'll wait for him there."

Mia sat there with her backpack on.

He knew she was here to find him, but he hid instead.

Mia downstairs was still waiting.

Andre put down his pen, stood up and prepared to go downstairs to pick up Mia.
